    I just found this thread right now.

    I had been meaning to check Zayam's posts, but had not had time.

    I would like to hear more about this member, but maybe some of this has already been covered. I missed the introduction thread, time to go back and search before asking more here.

    This is an example of exactly why people miss excellent posts all the time!

    They are preoccupied with a particular topic and their time is limited on certain days, so they read one or two threads and log off.

    I think it's great Zayam has brought up this question of lack of reply.

    It reminds us all to be kind and pay attention to new ideas, new posts, etc.
    Because there are people creating those threads or posts who have feelings.

    We all love to get feedback.

    So maybe everyone can make an effort to respond rather than read silently and go on to something else.

    And to respond constructively, not with a quick, superficial-appearing comment or answer.

      So much love in this thread, it is intoxicating (no, I joke).

      Brilliant answers by Shazadgey, (Shazadgey) Jasmine and our respected Khan Gul. Zayam, like you, I too like my contributions to be appreciated, but the thing that matters most is that they are understood. Like Khan Gul said, if anything, your thoughts and posts are so enlightening, so deep they take a while to be digested. I almost went into a daze when reading one of them, took me a while to get out, and by the time I did, I had lost my train of thought to respond (not everyone's case, I am sure). In all honesty, and seriousness, you are a member here who has a lot to offer, and that stands out about you even if you don't make it apparent. If there is anything that I can do to assist you and make your experience here more pleasant, be sure to ask and I will try my utmost to give you a satisfactory response.

        dont take it personally if no one replies zyam..different people have different things that interest them, they have different attention spans or thinking capabilities so dont take it as anything

        you make a thread like " what are you wearing today " you'll get loads of responses..yet you post some scholarly article or something people will just skim by..it just depends on beoble
        It's enough that I know, Our time had a home, In your heart..Was a place..But the glass always breaks..

          Kha, BIG SMILE, and now I feel a bit shy.......Alhmaduliah...you all bless me.

          Mahzala-I am learning these days about "qabil". We want to be good, and yet not be self-righteous. To truly know someone is hard, because so often when we think we do, surprises come and we are dumbfounded. I have too often made the mistake of reacting first, before giving it to Allah and asking Allah to mediate between us. Now I ramble...but thank you.

            Zayam,
            You are an articulate and "qabil" person. I am sure everyone here knows your true "worth" (qabiliat).
            [COLOR="Purple"][FONT="Century Gothic"]So long as there is the earth and the heavens;
            So long as the world endures;
            So long as there is life in the world;
            So long as a single Afghan breathes;
            There will be this Afghanistan.
            Long live the Afghan nation.
            Long live the Republic.
            Forever there be our national unity

Does it mean that you don't feel that a reply is necessary.

              I crave dialogue, but being an outsider, sometimes finding the path into your Pashtun world is hard for me. I do not feel comfortable engaging in conversation that I know little about. Sure, I am a searcher, here to learn, so maybe I should refrain from speaking at all?

                Salamoona Zayam.....no comments doesnt mean that nobody is reading your post.. you should also check in the index of threads, it shows how many times it has been viewed.....

                i had felt this a few times....that people didnt reply to my post andpaid no attention to my post in somebody elses thread.....but as time has passed everything is allright.....

                and when i dont post due to some reason i have members asking why i am not posting....now u know it well as we have so m any replies to ur thread which again proves people do reply when they can realte to ur post....

                and Zayam....also i dont reply to some people's thread as i know their attitude...so i dont reply even if i want to...............cause some members invite feedback and then dont respect....so better not to reply.....

                Anyways Zayam..i am too looking forward to more posts from u....have a great time.....

                  I apologize if you felt like your thread was ignored, as our seniors said we do read them and we will respond to them. You have joined a family and its your duty to continue posting. I myself have a Pashto Newspaper to manage but I am still here posting because I am attached here. Everything that leaves your mouth is relevant.

                  DaZahroJaam is our spoiled princess.

                  Rereading today...and have become curious about your newspaper. Can you tell me more?

                    You're right. Often, after having known someone for so many years, most of our lives even, we find we still don't quite know them and still don't fit in with them. Sometimes, on the other hand, we meet someone new and the understanding is so strong, it feels as if you've known them for quite a long part of your life. Sometimes, too, we meet people, and we make (after a number of encounters) some positive judgements about them, only to be later disappointed, and as you say, dumbfounded. And sometimes, we put so much into those relationships, we then begin to expect things, and when our expectations are not met, we are shattered. Does this apply to this forum? Certainly. In fact, disappointing situations can be avoided if we be more careful and not give ourselves so freely, not have high expectations and not be quick to draw conclusions and judgements about the other party. It involves emotions, which makes it a lot more dangerous. Now I am beginning to ramble. I'll leave it there.
