You were active on that thread so you can't say you didn't notice. That post is still there when I brought it up to you as well. Now before you bring the "report it" argument, was my post with the word "0wned'' reported? But no-cares, it's all good. I don't trip over it. I didn't quote this to gain public sympathy but a reminder of sorts, where I think you failed to address the level of maturity and balance expected on these forums to some of these folks. I also think there are other times where you could have stepped in and balanced things out. For example when people innocently mock Quranic style, ayats, 72 grains or Caucasian virgins, hairy beards, the imagination of Mohammad the bedouin Arab, Allah the imaginary sky-god etc. etc. because religion and religious beliefs are not something to joke about or mock.

Personally I don't have a problem with such stylish sarcasm. It makes good reading. I just wanted to point out that when something is obvious you can't help but notice. Are you an apologist? Cuz even apologists stand up for their beliefs (assuming you are a Muslim from what I have gathered).

We are questioning and have the right to question anything and everything that determines our lives.
I could care less about the beliefs of eskimos in greenland or canada. But bedoiuns sent billions of dollars to kill my brothers and sisters, in the name of religion, than I have a right to question not only their motives and actions but the vehicle they are using to deliver that lethal cargo.
If no pashtoon had ever been damaged by Islam, than I would not have a right to joke, mock or question Islam. Unfortunately that is not the case.
by the same token, I have a right to question other ideologies that has affected me, like communism, democracy, capatilism, hiduism, punjabi nationalism, science, pashtoon nationalism; they are all fair game, get used to it.

I agree with you. I am addressing the double-standards here. I rarely see you (or anyone else from the enlightened minds) who would question democrats, secularists, capitalists, communists or nationalists that have or hurt Pukhtoons. Probably more so than the Ayrabs, and more effectively and indiscriminately on a far larger scale. I don't see the vehicle used to deliver these lethal cargos being questioned. I haven't witnessed transparency on these subjects. Maybe I missed it.

I am sure you don't condone any of that, just like I don't condone bedouin Arabs and their global agendas. It just so happens that our arguments are coming from different side of the spectrum. So: they are all fair game, get used to it

primitive elements of pashtunwali should be abolished under a progressive reform process, coupled with economic development and increased oppurtunity with adequate resource management. Same true for islam.
Not all of islam is bad, just some primitive elements, the rest is part of culture and will be there as our identity.

Laws should have a purpose to decrease the incidence of a crime. A crime is an act against a person or a group of peaple and their interests i.e. increases exploitation and decreases oppurtunity with individual rights superseding group rights for most things (huqooq-ul-ibad, under state and penal code control) and they relate to wellness in this world. Laws should not protect an ancient custom (pashtunwali) nor protect right attributed to a religious diety (hindu, muslim, jew) i.e. huqooq ul llah should not be imposed by the state].

Amir saab, I have not been exposed to the afghan communist, but I have seen the pakhtunkhwa ones. They are mostly poorly educated disillusioned peaple that have not done much to advance pashtoo or pashtoon. A free bottle of the cheapest whiskey is usually enough to get their services for the day. Not one has ever worked an honest hour.

This is not modernity, or progress. This is defaming both.
