In my opinion, modern Iranian hatred toward Arabs its due to the Islamic Revolution. What drives Iranians crazy is not Arabs, is not racism, is not history, is not defeat, is not superior or inferiority complex,.. what drives Iranians crazy is frustration. After the Islamic Revolution Iran became a pariah state and Iranians lost their status. Now the Iranian passport is one of the weakest in the world and Iranians are regarded by most of the people as terrorists, fanatics, women-oppressors and so on.

Iranians need to blame somebody for this failure and since all this started with the Revolution which was Islamic by nature, Iranians need to blame it on Arabs. They need to distance themselves from what they consider its the problem (Islam). Its just a cultural cringe: in order to get the approval of White people, who are upset because the Iranian regime doesn't give up, Iranians are even ready to sell their identity as long as they apease "civilized" White people. Problem solved lol

How does the government hold in Iran they claim to be model shia state but their citizens by and large seem irreligious.

A dance between chaos and order. There's a rise & fall to everything. White Europeans/Americans know this and it'ss scaring them ****less because they realize now they're in a wane. One day all of this will be thrown to the oblivion. There will be no Tajiks, No Pashtuns, no Pakistan, no ISI, no ISIS , no FBI, No NATO.......just a few unfortunate souls scouring the Earth, rumaging through the ruins of everything we have now, wondering what the f*ck it all meant?

        It's all quite meaningless really.
That explains why there are so many articles in the Internet about the Western decline since Trump got elected with "intellectuals" claiming "what will come after the Western civilization won't be any better". They got a point though. I mean the West is after all the culmination of all other civilizations. Its by far the greatest civilization ever created, and no other one will ever do better than this one.

Just imagine of frustrating and scary must be for those Westerners smart enough to realize that despite being the strongest and most advanced civilization ever created you are unable to defeat weaker enemies. You are unable even to guarantee your own survival. Knowing that collapse is looming.

Do you know some Islamic scholars developed this concept called Asabiyyah that explains how human civilizations raise and fall by the hand of younger, stronger and more ambitious less developed societies. I believe we are about to reach this critic point and its quite scary.

Weird.
          Actually, good point.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

I debunked his hilarious claim by stating that cousin marriage was a common practice in Iran many centuries before the Islamic arrival. That Zoroastrians even married their own siblings off. This practice was called (and its still called) "xwedodah". For some reason, they guy refuses to believe this and instead prefers to call me "Muzzie terrorist". I believe its cognitive dissonance but who knows.

So my question is.. WHY ARE NATIONALIST PEOPLE SO STUPID?? I have never met a rational and unbiased nationalist. All of them are full of hatred, bigotry and fantasies. Is there some sort of of relation between stupidity and nationalism? Is there any psychological pathology that explains such behaviors?
First off, is this guy's name "seanamico" ?

Pashtun forums had alot more racist and bigoted die hard Pashtun naitionalists that used to curse Tajiks, Uzbeks, Hazaras, Punjabis, and especially Pashtuns that used to consider themselves Pakistanis (whom later get called Gul Khans) . There are some notable Pashtuns on social media that identify and take pride in being Pakistani , namely the dude that made Pukhtoogle, ToughPashtun and a few others.

Ofcourse, Pro-Pakistani Pashtuns tend to get bigoted too by bashing us pashtun nationalists, but the same bigotry most pakistanis share.

and Anti-Islamic Iranian nationalists have some bases behind it. These new Islam bashing iranians have come about. Anni Cyrus is another islam bashing iranian woman that seems biggoted, though her claims of being abused physically is legitimate. It's a reaction to the Iranian revolution back in 1979, so many secular Iranians miss the era of iran when it was ruled by the Shah.

I mean, we have some Pashtun nationalists that are islam bashing, who miss the old times of pre-Taliban era Afghanistan and always bashing Islam and ofcourse, Pakistan.
            I am gone...

But even this can be summarized as an inferiority complex. Though you're absolutely right. I still stand that it's rooted in this inflated ego of ancient Persia.

I really doubt a large amount of iranians are non-muslims.. Sure they're a bit similar to azeris(drinking and such), turks and such, but they're still muslims. All of this islam-hatred just straight cyber. If not, then probably 4-5 percent of iranians are against islam.

just like among Pashtuns, we have a divide in political opinions. We have Afghan Pashtuns divided among secular and religious. Moreover, we have Pakistani Pashtuns divided on being Gul Marjans and Gul Khans.

Same story among Iranians. I came across Iranians who are religious muslims and said the iranian revolution was a good thing, then Iranians who are hateful and resentful to Islam because of the revolution.

There are Arabs who are secular and anti-islamic, which is the basis for the civil war in Syria. You say Iranian nationalists hate arabs, but i'm sure they'd side with the Ba'ath party of Bashar Al Assad and instead be bashing the millitants like ISIS, atleast one side would be Arabs they agree with.

I am talking about Persian-Tajik nationalism because it affects me directly. I know very well that ALL nationalism are as toxic as Persian nationalism.

Those Pashtun nationalist who bash Islam because Islam destroyed Afghanistan should STFU. It was Pashtun nationalist who destroyed Afghanistan. Not Muslims.

Iranian hatred toward Arabs and other non Iranic people such as Turks goes back to many centuries ago. I mean if you read Shahnameh its a pure nationalist book. Its actually 100% anti-Turkic.

But all these nationalist/religious quarrels were gone after were gone in the post-colonialist and cold war era. There was a raise in ethnic-politics in the 70th decade and especially after the end of the cold war. Identity politics has filled the vacuum left by ideology politics. And here we are now, dude.

I don't think they are doing taqqiyah. Vast majority of Iranians living in Europe are murtads. Its a fact. But it also depends. When I was in Emirates, most of Iranians I met in there were quite conservative. My sister in law is an Sunni Ajami from city close to Shiraz, and they are proud Muslims. Isfahanis and Mashadis tend to be very religious. Teheranis are annoying AF.

yup, to entirely change pashtun culture like pushing for women's rights and secularism, what many pashtuns disagree with.
