My cousins are born and raised in Pakistan but don't count past 10 in Urdu. They can count up to 10 in Pashto and Urdu, but then it gets complicated after that so they switch to English. I also have some cousins who are adults with children that were born and raised in Rawalpindi but they don't count in Urdu either, but in English instead. I think it's mainly villagers nowadays that count in Urdu. Many urbanites (especially the younger ones) can only count in English.Originally posted by khushal View PostHow could you not know how to count in Urdu. You must not have gone to school in Pakistan or went to an English speaking school.

I did not know bund means ass in Punjabi. I saw you using this "bundjabi" for some members there on defence.pk. I wondered whats up with that.Originally posted by Elite Pakhtun View PostBund means @ss in punjabi.
I dont recall usage of this word bundjabi by Afghans and other members here. I just searched 'bundjabi' in search of this forum and turns out it has been used only few times, mostly by you...also once used by Friend of Baloch and an Indian member. Its not Admin Khan or PF but you who has taught us the word bundjabi.

I learned it from friends of baloch.
As for admin khan, he spent all this time buying server space, generating content, programming the site... He wanted to create a nice, loving, friendly, harmonious environment, where pashtuns can interact and connect. It's all his personal expense and efforts for no profit.
All that culminates to the word "bundjab", which, let's be honest, is the real value of this site. All that effort was to bring this word to the forefront.

Thanks Admina. Der kha kar de uko. Oops. I mean sha. Der sha kar de uko.Last edited by Elite Pakhtun; 11-28-2017, 12:32 AM.

Don't worry there are many Samandri like Pashtuns in Pakistan who know little about the other languages. Also thanks for teaching me what Bund means. Now I will know what my Pakistani friends really say.Originally posted by Elite Pakhtun View PostAre you serious? You live in Pakistan and you don't know what bund means?

You must have an obsession with bund cause that's all your focused on instead of the thousands of other topics. According to psychology studies, such people were victims of molestation so feel sorry for you, we do.Originally posted by Elite Pakhtun View PostAre you serious? Just like Punjabis dont know the "konab" word of my Pashto, in the same way i dont know "bund" of their Punjabi.
Its pity that during 16 months of stay, Elite Pakhtun gained nothing of "value" from this forum but the word "bundjabi". Thanks to Elite Pakhtun , i learnt that bundjabi is a derogatory word for Punjabis, it may come in handy. I saw you using it against Punjabis on defence.pk, i will do the same when the occasion arises.

Living in Pakistan and not knowing what bund means is like living in Pakistan and not knowing what behn chowd means.Originally posted by salman47 View PostDon't worry there are many Samandri like Pashtuns in Pakistan who know little about the other languages. It's practically impossible.

Your experiences in Pakistan probably don't match the average Pashtun's.

I lived in both Peshawar and Islamabad. Both places have heard these words. Yes, in Isb it's said far more frequently. But you won't be in any Pashtun area and say the word "bund" and expect people not to know what it is. Unless it's someone who's really illiterate or only ever dealt with refugees or his village only, it's pretty hard to be that ignorant.Originally posted by maneatinglizard View PostYou lived in Islamabad, didn't you?
