I have to disagree. If it was to be independent , then it would be landlocked which could be problematic.
Another point to consider is the strategic location.It isn't unlikely that both India and Pakistan would then have their own proxies for 'strategic depth' like they do in Afghanistan , if Kashmir becomes an independent state.

Here's an idea. Look in the mirror - the reflection is what 3 feet looks like. and the way in that part of the world kids grow beards at 12-13 years old, the victim is 15-16 max (basically a kid)
