Anyways, so clearly smacking someone or forcing them to cheer for your country is not ethical behaviour under any circumstances but this "kid" over here was apparently throwing rocks at these military guys while chanting "India morbadabad". And he swore in Allah, saying he did not such thing at which point the guy hitting him slapped him some more for lying and swearing on Allah and that too on the holy moth of Ramadan.

So here is the thing..
If you are going out to throw rocks at members of a country's army while chanting death to that country, try not to get caught. If you get caught, prepare for things worse than being smacked across the cheek to happen.

Because these places were their homes before it became Pakistani or Indian Kashmir. You can't just pack up and leave your house one day because someone has decided to split your country in half. When you live in war, nothing is for sure. Every day you wake up, you believe the war would be over. These people don't have the money to pack up, buy a house somewhere else and move. Even if they did, where would they move to?? India, the country that has waged war on them or Pakistan, the country that economically suffering its self and won't let them live in peace??

If there actually is a video , and you are not making it up , then at most we can say that it is wrong , but it does not justify an Indian to do the same.

I know, I have watched gadhar a million times. That was an emergency situation where Muslims and Sikhs were being haunted down from door to door by each other. People had to flee.
War is slightly different. One day you hear the firings, then it gets close and closer and the next day it's too late and dangerous to leave your door steps. Then it's quite and peaceful for three days and every one is convinced that it is over. Then it comes back with the same pattern but different durations.
The thing is, leaving a province for the other because things are not working like we do in the west is not the same as places like Kashmir or Afghanistan. Leaving the place you, your parents and grandparents were most likely born in and called home is not very easy.

And I wanted to add this to my original post but then I deleted it because I did not want to make it political but from what I have seen and been told by Kashmiris, they don't care for Pakistan or India. They just want to be Kashmiris. They are just being forced with labels such as Pakistani Kashmir or Indian Kashmir. And neither one of those two countries would let that happen so I don't see why they should favour one over the other.

As for the stone throwing.. there are those who do it to gain the trust of Pakistani soldiers and maybe those who genuinely feel like throwing stones. You resist the way you choose to resist. These people get harassed by Pakistani soldiers on one side and Indian ones on the other side over accusations of being in favour of one or the other and I am not one to sit all the way in Canada and talk about how and when these people should react to the circumstances that have been brought on to them but if you get caught, you get caught. Getting a slap across the face is a very small yet noble price to pay for what you stood up for.

What we do have is footage of soldiers bullying and forcing a young man to chant appeasing slogans. Furthermore your analogy is a load of shyt and nonsensical because you don't hear of Pakistani soldiers persectuing the Kashmiris, you only hear it happening on the Hindus side.
