There is nothing in common between both of you ethnically apart from religion. You are closer to Indians.

I can feel your curry smell even through the screen you dirty cockroach lolOriginally posted by kitabI am from Germany and let me tell you Turks hate Afghans and consider them most backward people one can come across. Dont kid yourself dalkhor. I am not looking for Turks approval. I am not a dirty Paki suffering from inferiority complex who is desperately looking for friends and brothers.
In general Afghans tend to call Turks as "Turk-e Khar" but you are lying regarding Turks and Afghans in Germany. Afghan-Germans (most of them are Tajiks) tend to befriend Turks over their own Iranian cousins.
So pelase do me a favor, you subhuman cockroach, don't lie to me. You aint fooling anyone. Spricht du Deutsche, du kleine untermensch, oder?"For thirty years, I endured much pain and strife,

Dont read too much into it. A handful of Turks posting on a smelly Paki forum doesnt reflect anything about the average person in Turkey.Originally posted by Samandri View PostI thought people of Turkey would dont even know where the hell is Pakistan but it appears to me friendship of Turkey with Pakistan also permeates to grass roots. I dont see Chinese defending around Pakistanis against Afghans or Iranis but here and there i see Turks taking stand on Pakistan. There must be some history behind this nice thoughts of Turks about Pakistanis, may be because of Khilafat movement of Hindi Muslims?. Have you people met any Turks, what they say about Pakistan and Pakistanis?
Just a while ago , a Turkish posted this on defence.pk

In the real World Turks have nothing in common with Pakis. Just look at the big cities of Turkey like Istanbul or Izmir or Konya etc and compare them to some Rawalpindi or Lahore or Karachi and you will laugh. They are all incomparably "crap" when measured against Turkey.
In Europe there are lots of people from Turkey in Germany and also in London, England. In both countries i have not seen any closeness between the two.
Only on the level of government to government does Turkey and Pakiland roll out the red carpet. Normal Turkish people dont give a crap about Pakis.
If you take a closer look, Turkish nationalists will embrace Pakis online because nobody else embraces them except for Pakis, who always are ready to give the cyber blow job to Turks and Turkey.
Turkish nationalists are one of the most genuinely hated of all people i have ever seen. Kurds, Armenians, Greeks, Iranians, Bulgarians, Serbians, Hungarians and Arabs all hate Turkish nationalists.
I do not know a single other group of people that respect or feel 'allied' with Turkish nationalists. They even cause split opinions among other Turkic groups.
So i dont know what anyone else expects than a Turkish nationalist to fully embrace the servile praise they get from smelly Pakis. It must be a massive ego boost for them when a lowly Paki grovels at their feet and praises Turkish history and Turkey. But does a Turkish nationalist actually know anything about Punjabis and Sindhis or even care? lol..
Turks just entertain themselves, and these servile Pakis are the only ones who are eager to do the entertaining for them. There is no genuine mutual respect there. Pakis look up to them, and Turks just take the praise and give it back tongue-in-cheek.
Turks wont do anything for Pakis in the real World.

A lot of those members are actually fake; they are most likely not even from Turkey or where they claim. I remember a few used to join PF and claim they were Pashtun as well. Turks are far more similar in culture to Afghans than Pakistanis from my observations, which is based on historical reasons, not to mention about 15-20% of the Afghan population is probably Turk. Most Pakistanis are probably more similar to Indians. Even the cuisines between Afghan and Turks are similar.Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.
A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

I live in Turkey, and I can say with hundred percent certainty that the Turkish culture is very similar to our's(especially Food wise). As far as I know, most of the Pakistanis/Indians(or any South Asian for that matter) do not like the food here(no/less spices). Some even despise the Turkic Culture.Originally posted by Admin Khan View PostA lot of those members are actually fake; they are most likely not even from Turkey or where they claim. P.S. In Adana(city in Turkey), the meat culture exactly like ours. Also it is very famous for it's Adana Kebab in the whole world.
Apart from the Turks here, I feel culturally very close to the Kurdi/Zaza-Gorani people, mainly because they are also Iranian.
Also many Iranis i met are very big rude k****ds

I've been to Turkey the late 90s. Their diet is meat heavy. Not much rice. Generally its less spicy than Pakistani food, but you can get spicy food. In Istanbul, in istiklal street, there is a pizza hut that had a very spicy pizza. It's probably the best pizza hut I've been to. They also have foods similar to a chipati/paratha... albeit not necessarily as popular.
Spicy food is for alphas like me. No wonder some of you guys diss it.

Yes they are different along with their Language, but they consider themselves Kurdish(maybe because Kurdish are the biggest minority, and their fight for Linguistic freedom has so far been successful)!Originally posted by Qami View PostBro, aren't Zaza totally different by entality than Turks and even than other Kurds?
Those I met were quite different!
But if you say the languages are slightly different, then also if you consider all the Kurdish languages, most of them are different from each other. E.g. Kurmanji Kurdi has a unique grammar structure, than say compared to Sorani Kurdi which has the exact same grammar structure as that of Parsi(Persian).
P.S. Kurdish as a Language does not exist, rather it is just a bunch of similar(yet different) languages grouped as one. Also Zaza and Kurdi people live together in Turkey, so like the culture is similar.

By Turk being similar to us, I meant those that live on the Countryside, not the Euro wannabes in Big Cities...Originally posted by SamandriI believe the Kurds will be more similar to us in character while these so called Turks are Europeanized people and their less spicy food is more of European thing.
Look at these European wannabes how they depict their Ottoman history ; their costumes look like lord of the rings

Here are historical paintings of their old dresses
