Likewise...It's been fun. You are a legend here, and belong in the PF hall of fame. Let us know where you drift off next in your search of worthy opponents. Pamakha de kha brother.Originally posted by Iblis_Efreetzai View PostI think this is something that's been ruminating with everyone at this point. I'm not feeling this forum anymore. Its prestige and relevance has seemed to run its course.
Not sure why I've lingered so long? It got to a point I came here just because I had an "adversary" or two, so there was a certain "thrill" of dealing in ideological or philosophical combat. Generally it just devolved into pissing contests, but still some fruit came out of it. It was a great mental exercise of sorts and definitely helped me hone and reassess my own personal beliefs.
It's amazing that my views. despite still preserving their core principles and values, have gone through some considerable paraigm shifts. I thank both my "allies" and my "adversaries" for playing even a tangential role in motivating that.
I'm not exactly "leaving" the forum, but I probably won't be coming here much in the near future. In fact, the main reason I'm keeping this open is because Porus has a reply waiting for me. After that, I'd like Mods to remove me from the membership roster.
I think this is a good time to close this "chapter" of my cyber-journey.
Well .....that's all

Since Porus never came back to finish our discourse....I have to request moderators/admins to remove my account/any past accounts from the forum roster and terminate all ID's that I use or have used.
Thank you.

Before you're gone 100% for good... can you recommend me some good metal songs with good instrumentals, but not necessary the "screamo"...
Slipknot's track "skin ticket" is a good example of a track of that sort. Has good vocals, and the shouting doesn't ruin the song (in fact, it even makes it good).
Sorry to see you go IblisLast edited by Elite Pakhtun; 06-17-2017, 07:49 PM.

I am not too familiar with the "metal scene" but you probably need to look at the 1970s and 1980s if 'screaming' and 'shouting' too much is not for you. Some examples of 70s and 80s songs i know, Hendrix one from end of 60s i think.Originally posted by Elite Pakhtun View PostBefore you're gone 100% for good... can you recommend me some good metal songs with good instrumentals, but not necessary the "screamo"...

I guess it depends on what you're looking for, metal is a vast genre which can have full on aggressive sound or just a heavy but complex structure with many nuances and all permutations in between.Originally posted by Elite Pakhtun View PostBefore you're gone 100% for good... can you recommend me some good metal songs with good instrumentals, but not necessary the "screamo"...

You may or may not like this; but this is one of my favorite albums of all time. It's not a full on "instrumental" per se, but there are quite a few nice instrument segues. It's kind of like a death/black metal orchestral piece. It's just one continual song for about 40 minutes.
Don't be sorry, this place blows, we're just persistantly annoyed by a South Asian guy with an Identity Crisis screaming for attention and the topics have been recycled.
