You see in Afghanistan we don't have that problem when it comes to marrying people outside their ethnciity. I know plenty of Pashtun-Tajik inter-marriages. Actually most of Herati Pashtuns I have come across were married to Herati Tajiks. Never seen any Pashtun-Hazara marriage. I know also some Kabuli Tajik (shias)-Hazara couples
I take your word for it.
Inter ethnic harmony is the need of the hour , be it Afghanistan or Pakistan or any other country.

Pashtunes prefer if their daughters marry white men or any man with money. like this american came on holiday to pakistan. he talks to Pashtune girl in the road and smile wink wink at her. her father then happy for her to marry him. many times white, black or Arab men with some money come to pakistan and marry Pashtune girls.

Those links do not validate your statements.

Hey mungojerry... mungojerry man, I have a question for you. It's a very unanswered question. One that has left me in a state of confusion. Please answer my question, mungojerry. It's such a question. Like the most question of all questions. It's SUCH a question, man. Like the question champion. Here is the question:

          Where are you from?

This, is NOT a Pashtun lady, nice try though

We're not Indics that go around cucking women,

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

No, the majority did not see invaders as liberators. Only some people who shared the same ideology as the inavders, those who thought the invaders will give them more power and others who might have felg opressed might have seen the invaders as liberators.
Most people neither want invaders nor insurgents because they both claim they exist because of each other. Most people like all over the world want, jusrice, peace, rule of law, employment, better health and education etc. The insurgency would not have lasted this long withoug local support so its clear not everyone is on the same side. There are different competing groups like in any other other country.

I'll put it this way. Many Afghans despised the Taliban. At the same time, they would not want their country to be invaded and occupied. Now the question is,what they thought of as the greater evil.
If they considered the Taliban to be the greater evil , then it is logical that these people would be somewhat happy over the invasion(and fall of Taliban) though at the same time having some reservations over their country being occupied by foreigners.
On the contrary, if a person considers the invasion as a bigger evil, then they would not support it despite being unhappy with Taliban rule as well.
My question was that which group do you fall into?
If I am wrong, feel free to correct me.

I thought the question was how Afghan people feel so I tried to answer it as such through my own experi3nce.

Personally I want invaders out and Insurgents joining the mainstream through Jirgas.
Both parties do not represent the wishes of Afghan people and we have far better alternatives. Why do I have to choose between the two? I would have preferred if Afghans settled their own issues without foreign interference and let the people get rid of Talis which I am sure wouod have happened eventually as peopls couldn't live too long with their version of Islam.
