I'm not talking about recreational drug users; but yeah there are some people who can be functional addicts. This isn't unheard of, but we're not just talking about apparent signs of functioning but health over all. I decry recreational drug user of any form. Any drug use should be under people seasoned and trained to use them or medically prescribed in controlled doses.

my grandfather (dad's father) was an avid taryak (opium) smoker, it was his arthritis medication, around this time he definitely revealed more of his Sufi tendencies...he became very mystically inclined and meditative .....which seems to correlate with the entheogenic properties of opiates.

When White people get arrested for marihuana in NY, there case gets dismissed and sealed. When a Black or Brown gets arrested for the same Marihuana in NY. The judge throws the book at them. not race baiting it is the truth. Visit your local court houses and see for yourself.

I am currently in one year of probation for having an 1/8th. Even with a lawyer, the corrupt judge will throw me into county if i get in trouble with law enforcement again. Which in my case is hard not to.

Not to mention how these White cops are racists as Hell.

Half my foot is in the system. the other is free. But i wouldn't want it any other way.

If you meant If I do, then yes, I don't take it for recreational use but medicinal. I normally take CBD oil or vape high CBD strains. It does wonders for my condition, now please don't ask me what my conditions are!, but I can tell you what you can use CBD oil or weed for.

I wanted to know if anyone here uses it for medicinal, recreational or whatever.

Btw, I used to be uber anti-weed until I felt its impact.

This is actually interesting. The trouble we have in what I do is that we reach maximum anti angina treatment. I got these 70+ year old folks that are on Metoprolol, Nitrates, Calcium channel blockade, Ranexa and have had redo redo bypass surgeries.

A friend of mine in one of the Marijuana friendly states (prescription) mentioned that out of exasperation she prescribed the CBD component (I think) as a last ditch approach. Apparently it worked in some very ill patients and reduced clinic visits and kept those folks who were out of options out of the Emergency Departments which is a cost win for the system.

I plan on reading up on the subject to see where the evidence lies.
