This is what makes it challenging sometimes. This is a Pakistani look, so a Pakhtun that may not look like this would confuse a lot of the untrained. Even though many Pakhtuns are Pakistani.

yes and those people can be easily separated from punjabis, for example Nawaz Sharif and family who are kashmiri migrants, Imran Khan etc.... not just Punjab, many places India were settled, some of them got mixed, and other went back home where they came from
