this comment from the video:
Farhan Qureshi, you are a very brave man. A man of character to have discovered the truth and have had the courage to broadcast it on YT. My caste (Arain) also claim Arab ancestry which I from my study of history have know for the past 30 years to be a lie. All those of my caste having had similar done tests have found ZERO Buddu blood. I say to all these Syeds and etc to go ahead and learn the truth. And never be ashamed of it.

The "Sidiqui", "Farooqi" "Usmani" etc (large number of Indian-Muslims have such surnames), you will not find people with such surnames in medieval history of India, even though Arabs were readily give positions in Mughal and pre-Mughal offices. The Arabs who migrated from Arabia had long typical Arabic names and retained such names These Sidiquis, farooqis, Usmanis, Qureshis etc are obviously converts from low castes of Hinduism.

Science doesn’t lie, but you need a grasp of the principles of mathematics as applied to genealogy. You get 50% of your DNA from your father and 25% from your grandfather. If you pursue these diminishing returns back to the times of the prophet Mohammad, you would get nothing that would show up on Ancestry. You need to look at your male line DNA and compare it to other Qureishis. Similarly if you have 1 or 2% Melanesian ancestry, one would expect you have a recent ancestor (Gtgtgtgtgrandfather or something) who was a Melanesian. It wouldn’t show up after 12,000 years!

Thank you for that clarification

This man does not know what he is talking about. I think he is one of those fools who believe in being Arab.

Bwahahaha. No, I don’t believe in being anything but what you are: but it is a universal principle that you cannot expect or claim to be the same race as your surname, because every generation halves the amount of DNA they are handing down, and surnames are often very old. As to whether you inherited the surname from the original Qureish or someone who assumed the name, the matter can be solved by DNA analysis, but not this particular test. You need someone to analyse your male line DNA and compare it to that of the Meccan family to see if there is a match.

I would to see some data or evidence for your claims. If what you suggest is true why are there no Arain or awan Hindus today? There are no arains or awan biradiris in India today. The entire Arain biradiri is Muslim. There are no Sikh or Hindu arains.Originally posted by Samandri View PostArian caste has definitely Hindu roots, same is case with Awans and Dhund castes/baradris who claim to be Arabs......they have Indian/Indic roots

no thats wrong, there is another video on there where a guy is Indian, he looks totally arab, yet he is still 70%+ south asian, only 10% middle eastern.Originally posted by HindustanTimes View Postthat guy looks 99% South Asian/Indic, it's no wonder.
If you don't look/pass as X or Y ethnicity, chances are you won't cluster genetically to such groups either.
