Pashtuns comprise 15 % of population . Its propotional to the number of armymen they have ? How is that different to anything I said ? Check out Cricket/Hockey teams where there is a mix bag of Punjabis , Pashtuns , Urdu Speaking and Sindhis . This is'nt Afghanistans football or Cricket team where entire squad will either be Tajik or Pashtuns .

Explain why most mega projects benefit punjab. Explain why CPEC has to be a curve instead of as close as possible to a straight line?

You're not answering my question. Why is the new Road curving into Punjab province for no apparent reason?

Punjab gets lion’s share in Chinese projects - The Express Tribune

According to official statistics, out of the total of 330 projects, 176 are in Punjab while only eight projects have been allocated for Balochistan.
          ...
As many as 1,912 security personnel have been deployed in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa to provide protection to 698 Chinese nationals, working on the 19 projects in the province.

Its definitely different than what you were claiming. You were making a false claim that Pashtuns are over-represented in army i.e they are 21%, and i had to correct you that its only 13.4%.....your brain seem to be busted and its apparent that its not working properly.

And there are always 8 or 9 Punjabi players in Pakistani cricket team in a match, thats over-representation (in a match you wont find more than two Pashtuns in cricket team at a time) ......Hockey team is almost entirely Punjabi..... while Pakistani football team is mostly Baloch and Pashtun (fortunately Punjabis have no taste for football)......so the teams of few sports that take place in Pakistan, are very unbalanced and disproportionate

Hmmm no . I remember Afridi , Umar gul , Younis Khan , Junaid Khan playing in one team at a time . Squash's greatest in history were Pakistani Pashtuns Jansher Khan and Hashim Khan .

As for the army claims here is another quote from a credible site .

The recently concluded peace deal between the Pakistani army and pro-Taliban tribal elements in North Waziristan has led analysts to question why Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf has backed down from military confrontation (Terrorism Monitor, October 5). The reason that the government made this decision is that keeping the Pashtuns of Afghanistan involved in the government […]

the estimation of two leading experts on the Pakistani army, namely Stephen P. Cohen of the Brookings Institution and Professor Hasan Askari Rizvi of Pakistan, indicates roughly that the Pashtun representation in the army is between 15-22% among officers and between 20-25% among the regular rank-and-file. However, Pashtuns from the NWFP, the third largest province out of four, and tribal areas together comprise only 16% of the country’s overall population -

This is true, I've seen 7 pakhtuns playing for Pak at the same time. Only Baloch and Sindhi players are rare.

                      When?

The representation has been very poor in the past 4-5 years, Samandri is 100% right.

Even very recently everyone wanted to chastise Misbah, when all the other batsmen can't stand their ground for more than 10 runs.

                            ^^
Look at increase in Sindh and Balochistan. British inherited Pak army was mostly recruited from punjab and NWFP. But over the years representation from Sindh and Balochistan have increased and Punjab/NWFP share decreased. And lately there has been drive to recruit ethnic Baloch, not just someone from Balochistan. Thousands upon thousands of ethnic Baloch have joined army.

I'm not even counting punjabi speaking Misbha among them when I say I've seen 7 players at the time. 4-5 are normal. Like in New Zealand test recently. I bet not many people even know Misbha is pathan. There is no quota system in Pakistan cricket. I don't know any Baloch player who ever played for Pakistan cricket team that doesn't mean we should have some ethnic baloch as token and make mockery of the game.

and they are very under represented at higher officer level, i guess there promotion is stopped on purpose. how many corps commander in past and present are from KP? only one army chief was from KP throughout 70 years. how many pashtun have represented navy and air force at highest level. guess not a single one. at higher level KP representation in army is less than 0.1 percent.

According to Stephen P. Cohen ("The Idea of Pakistan", Oxford University Press), around 70% of the army officers are from Punjab, 14% from former NWFP, 9% from Sindh, 3% from Baluchistan and 1.3% from Azad Kashmir. According to Cohen the ratio of Punjabi in the senior ranks increase to more than 80%.
