You should use a better calculator with more Central Asian reference populations like MDLP K23b Or MDLP K13. Neither Pashtuns or Tajiks are genetically homogeneous so using one sample is misleading as well. Many Pashtuns (both Afghan and Pakistani) are closer to Afghan Tajiks, southern/central Tajiks from Tajikistan (Kulobi and Gharmi Tajiks), Pamiris, Yaghnobis, Afghan Uzbeks, Turkmen, etc. than to South Asians.

But yes, NW South Asians do have an affinity to South Central Asians. On many calculators they get modeled as 1/2 Pashtun or Tajik + 1/2 some kind of low-caste Indic population.

I think it is only sikh jatts and some Rajahistanis who show the affinity, the average Pakistani Punjabi rajput sample is much more south asian, similar to north Indians, not to mention the millions of average non castes punjabis

There is absolutely no common culture between the Iranid/Dardic populations and the Indic populations of Pakistan, it's a joke to even think there is, Chitralis might as well belong to Caucasus region/Eastern Europe, their culture, clothing, food, looks etc... are probably closer to them rather then Punjabis or Sindhis. Those samples that showed affinity to Pashtuns were from Jatt Sikhs, I dont know the history of Jatts, maybe they have some pashtun link? I am not sure
