There's always a handful of indian men who marry white women.

However, by and large, Rooh2 is spot on... Indians are the least desired and the lowest in the totem pole when it comes to chicks of any kind. You can ask white people yourself, if you don't believe it. Indians are usually rejected almost all the time.

A few pictures here and there doesn't prove anything. Anyone who lives in North America (such as me, you, and Rooh2) can easily tell you the harsh realities of this.

You also need to understand, there's a chance that some of the Indians who are in the west are doing something lucrative/professional. This means money. Women don't care about the guy's looks if he can drop money on her. This is especially true when it comes to marriage.

They are much more desriible then Pakis or muslims, Muslims in general have the worst image in the west, almost no (white) person will ever marry a muslim, unless they are a convert. And no, even college and highschool Indians are dating white and other girls, including AFghan girls here. You have to understand I am not talking about fresh of the boat Indians, I am talking about Indians who have at least lived in the west for 10 years or more. Indians overall are much more open minded then muslims, they drink, they party, they enjoy life, this is why they are desired much more over Muslim/Middle eastern guys who have really extremist image

Manzareh, there is obviously a lot you do not know about India or Indians. Or have simply met the wrong Indians. I'm not discussing those here who may or may not be Indians. I'm definitely India. Born and brought up here. And I grew up in a time when India was a lot poorer and wielding nowhere close to the influence and muscle she does today. Where foreign relatives were our only source of imported goodies lie Levis jeans of Velveeta cheese.

Its a very different world and India my kids are growing up in today. So different that there is really two Indias. One pre 1992 and the other post. I grew up and studied in one, and I raised a family and worked and am working in the other.

Oh and btw, Krishna, an Indian super God, is black. He is just shown as blue in comics and pictures. So there goes another theory of yours. Bummer.

All our diaspora are called expats. Indians ceased being economic immigrants a long time back. And under our current government, the expats are being added to our combined muscle as a very potent, patriotic and very rich force. Not as influential in terms of lobby might as we'd like them to be, but we're definitely No.2 behind the Chinese by a very wide margin there (and elsewhere).

Just wanna point out there is a difference between expat and immigrant...expats are rich white people moving to other countries, often developing countries, either to work in a highly demanding position or just retire....immigrants are poor people moving to other countries having little to no wealth.

The main difference between expat and immigrang comes down to a 'Need' vs 'Will'....a rich white person from Western Europe or North America doesnt 'need' to move to a developing country, rather its a question of personal 'will' or 'wish' to live outside your country of origin, where as an immigrant is someone who is forced/need to leave his homeland either due to war, poverty, prosicution, etc.

i have never heard some poor Romanian or Polish moving to France or UK to work/live being considered an expat.
