    • yes, but in essence and especially because we are muslim, marriage shouldnt be a temprorary thing, because the prophet saw said that it is half of your deen so that should mean that it will be a challenege. I think people have a problem sticking to one spouse.

      • I think it depends on the person getting marriage, do they get marriage because they feel pressurised into getting married, like they feel oh i am getting old i have to get married...then they get married, then they get fed up and cant cope

Or like me i would wanna get married because i want to and as you said its like completing half your deen, it is like your next phase of life, full of responsibility...you have to compromise a bit when u live with someone new, you cant be like how u were when u were single...

true, but if people see acceptance of leaving their spouses then they'll just do it, because in the past when someone left their spouse they were stigmatised and it was just plain taboo, but now in the west everyone is seeing more of a liberal approach so if the husband coughs at the wrong time, or the wife forgot to answer the phone, then the spouse is out the door.

            • well that is stupidity, because when you marry it should be in ur mind that she will be wid u till death! If u have issues u have to learn to sort them out, divorce in islam is last resort...and if u have kids as well then divorce is really unacceptable
