I think the person from Instagram was a Nuristani because they got really ignorant when I clarified that I am indeed of Pashtun heritage and desperately to tried to convince me that I'm Nuristani LOL.

Maybe the others weren't, but I always assumed so because it would make sense. But it also makes sense for some Punjabs and Indians to do that, too. Some really seem to dislike Pashtuns but at the same time try to claim us as their people sometimes. Or some claim that they're pashtun. I had an Indian person here in America once say "oh you little afghan pashtun boy molesters don't have anything on us. Indians OWN you, you are Indian, don't you remember the Mauryan Empire?" Of course, I laughed at that statement because we're Iranic, not Indid, and the Mauryan Empire wasn't some kind of invasion, it was a mission on spreading Buddhism to Afghans and Iranians. Nobody really mixed and if anyone did, their families probably might know.

I don't get why certain ethnic groups have to feel more superior.

I posted pictures of afghani army, not uzbek shubzek. Keep saying all these people are uzbeks when the reality is vast majority of afghanis are mongols a part from minority near Pak borders.

I doubt they show under hazara google, these pictures come up searching for afghani airforce. These are your average afghanis.



Before you go nuts, a part from couple of obvious europeans NATO soldiers, rest are all afghanis here. I count 2-3 people without much mongol in them.

What is most remarkable is that Hussaini is a Hazara, the third largest but lowest of all ethnic groups in Afghanistan. Hazara women, traditionally, are maids in Kabul, and the men perform coolie labor.
