we tajiks are no arabs, we are the original persians
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

The Y-chromosome Haplogroup J-M172 (J2) is not "Semitic in origin", its origin is unclear but generally thought to have been somewhere in the Caucasus-Mesopotamia-Levant region, where it peaks. It is found at its highest frequencies in the peoples of the Caucasus (Ingush, Chechens, Georgians, Azeris), followed by the peoples of the Levant (Arabs and non-Arabs), the Iranian plateau, Southern Europe and the rest of the Arab world.
Its diffusion is actually first traced all the way to the Neolithic revolution, i.e. the migrations of the earliest agricultural peoples of west Asia. These peoples were present from Southern Europe to the Iranian plateau several thousand years ago and in the case of the later, before the migrations of the Indo-Iranians into the region from the North. The Haplogroup that is associated with the peoples of the Arabian peninsula is the related J-M267 (J1) and it is not common in our region.

R-M17 (the most common subclade of R1a in Eurasia), which is also the most common in both the Pashtuns and Tajiks of Afghanistan is actually also common in the Turkic populations of Central Asia (a legacy of the many but now extinct Indo-Iranian speaking peoples of Central Asia). In fact, one of the highest ever frequencies in any population is in the Khoton peoples of Western Mongolia (over 80%). It is also common in the Brahmins of the Indian Subcontinent. Do you think all these peoples have similar ancestral admixtures? Y-DNA markers reveal the existence of the types of admixture in a population, but little more.

Anyway, Im not sure what the point of this thread is. Tajiks are a very mixed peoples but our ethnic identity is Persian (Persian is nothing more than a name for Parsi speakers) in the same manner that the Greeks of today who, despite being a mixed peoples of not only virtually all European groups but also Anatolian and Middle Eastern peoples, nevertheless are a distinct ethnic group.

Myself and many members on this forum have noticed certain inconsistencies with Kushan's background and we have come to the conclusion that Kushan is actually a confused Tajik who has a self hating inferiority complex and wants desperately to gain acceptance amongst Pashtuns. There's also a Bangladeshi member here who has a similar but somewhat distinct variant of this inferiority complex, who he has built a bond with. The Bengali member is at least aware that he can't pass as Pashtun but has a bizarre type of obsessive Mythologizing of Pashtuns as some type of race of Noble Warrior Saints that went and graciously converted the Bengalis to Islam and some of their "blood" may remain in Bangladeshis today.

Basically they're both really creepy and sad people.

Why would you think he's tajik? I remember when he said that pashtuns are generally light skinned you quickly took offense and said he's a tajik lol.. Or is that because you come from a very dark family and have your own inferiority complex? Let's get over skin color.. It's 2014

Lol he's half yemeni and he said on here once that he's dark skinned so he thinks all pashtuns half to look like him but he doesn't understand that he's a mulatto who generally come out looking dark. I know this half iraqi dude who's dad is chehcen who is also brown skinned and he tries to link arabs with dark skin all the time. Must be a bedouin thing lol.

I also have dark skinned members in my family but i'm in no inferiority complex like this dude.

Hhaha So you are Killzai, why would I have an inferiority complex? My people conquered his people, Even if it was an issue of skin color, it would mean dark skinned people conquered light skinned people. No big deal.
