You are giving too much credit to dhaalkhors, they are dominant because
1-they are majority.
2- They are survivors of constant invasions and foriegn rule, they have evolved into shrewd creatures who know how to take care of their interests by any means. Honour is meangingless notion among them, they would call you stupid and make fun of you if you talk about honour ghairat, self-respect, sharam, haya, bravery etc.
3- They are smart enough not to claim pakistan as punjabistan even though they are practically ruling the country. But they have destroyed their own culture, langauge and identity for sake of this country, they have bet on it because they are euphoric from ruling a powerful state for the first time in the history. Only a beghairat nation with low self respect would do so, they lost half of the country in 1971 and it might collapses further. They are the rulers of a failed state, actually a gift from british which they ruined in their excitement.
4- Their success lies in manipulation, they manipulated simple-minded pakhtuns and used them as chowkidaar of interests of punjab.
5- Punjabis have made big blunders, they know that in case of disintegration, indians would spare balochs and pakhtuns but would fck punjabis for its main role in anti-indian policy. I never took side with punjabis but as i said not all of them are evil or begerat.There are many punjabi families very respected and honourable people.
They in many ways respect pashtuns.The ordinary village punjabi do,nt even know what we are talking here.Even those living in cities.
The discrimination against pashtun is since the creation of pakistan.
That anti-pakhtun policy started during british era and later the pakistani establishment adopted this policy.Did we ever protest for our rights?
Did our leaders ever stage protest against punjabi establishment?

They still look suspicious to us and our leader like bacha khan baba was called ghadar so as wali khan .
The reason is that Bacha khan refuse to recognize pakistan.
Wali khan once in Hangu call for the division of pakistan.
Late Ajmal baba spend many years behind the bar and was treated very badly by the authorities for his anti-paki view.

For the unity of lar aw bar pakhtun.I met them and i can tell you they were very loyal to pashtun unity of lar aw bar afghan.
So the punjabi establishment did,nt trust pashtuns in many ways.

You can,nt say pashtun only do chowkedari.
Some of the top docters,engineer and other educated pashtun are serving on top posts.

The afg-pashtun are living far worst life

They have no choice but to live under parsiwan culture and language.
I have been to afghan istan more then one time and i have seen nothing like pashtun country.
They are so mixed with tajiks.They hate pashtuns of the east.They think we are dividing their countrty.
To pledge their loyality to tajiks they often show hatered towards pashtuns and pakis.
At the same time not a single afg-pashtun ever critisize iran and its anti-pashtu policy.

Abroad,afgan-pakhtun gave their daughters to punjabis but refuse to give it to their fellow pashtuns who share many thing with them.
I met one swatay-pashtun in Hong KONG .He was living in Australia and was trynig to marry this afghan-pashtana not for visa etc cus he was already settled in Aust.Poor guy beg her mother even but they refuse just cus he was pashtun from the east.
LATER a punjabi name Ali married her in big gathering of afg-pashtun.Ali punjabi abused her after marriage and divorced her after he got visa.
The poor girl left with nothing.
Not just this there are many example of afg-punjabi freindship and relation.

I have been to their gathering and discuss pashtun issues with them for hours and hours but all i can say this is one side story.

If you wan unity with them go ahead but you will be disapointed if you realy care for pashtu and pashtun culture.
By leaving urdu club and joining parsi one will bring no good for pashtu and pashtuns.

The only way ahead is for us to go for our true pashtun identity pashtunistan.

I am a Muslim. I am a Pakistani. I am a Punjabi. I am an Arain. I never chose any of these things. My creator choose these things for me. I am proud and give thanks to my creator Allah swt.

The reason I like Pakistan is because of all the different people. I love the Pashtuns, Baluch, Sindhis, and countless others.

If I only had a nation of Punjabis, I would be bored. I like to interact and learn about different people. Allah swt made us insaan into different tribes so that we can love each other, not hate each other.

As much as people call Quaid-e-Azam a kaafir, he was the only one that realized Pashtuns are independent people.

He allowed Kabili alakah to have freedom of their laws and customs. Have Afghans done this? From what I understand, farsiwan culture is being imposed all over Afghanistan.

You know for a fact that Pathans/Pashtuns in Punjab all know Pashto. Urdu is not forced, it is only a tool so that all of our different people can communicate with each other.

I personally dont support pashtun nationalism per se but pashtun leadership and culture as it is the most islamic of the south and central asian cultures. I dislike punjabis but I dont blame for any of our problems even though they exploited us in our moment of greatest weakness, and yes they are all silently complicit in it you dont see them taking to the street en masse to protest the killing of pashtuns by the army but if someone blows up a army base theyre out in force condemning the murder of there soldiers. But all in all I agree with gadoonwall that we need a pashtunistan but only so we can spread islam and our culture again to all the countries neigbouring the greater pashtunitan region, I am completely against the entity of a nationalistic pashtunistan nation-state as this is against our purpose as pashtuns to spread islam to our neighbours. I believe all people should ultimately benefit from such a state punjabis. tajiks etc. Pashtun unity in order to achieve Islamic domination ie Pashtun unity=Islamic Domination.
