geez, thanks, Toramana! It means a lot! :D
Yeah, when I became active on these forums, one of the first things I noticed that was there were plenty of knowledgeable people around. Their number has grown since then. Back on Chai Khaana, we had a smaller community but I remember everyone as being insightful and very expressive.
gulalai, when I find myself in hell eventually, I know I'll have someone to give me company for eternity!
Qrratugai, known her since the CK days. Very passionate, emotional and dedicated. She has been accused of being jealous of Zakir Naik, once while defending women's rights, she was accused of merely hunting for excuses to criticize Islam and recently, someone noted that she was disappointed that person x does not smoke and drink. She doesn't let such meaningless slander deter her, however.
Nadir Shah is my comrade-premier. This guy's always scholarly and to the point. He loves strolls along the beach and lemon tea. His ideal girl is Alexandra Kollantai.
MazlumYarMaseed, has his mind and heart in the right place and I love his humor. He also fights the malagaan so you don't have to. He and I will be the recipients of 72 white virgins one day.
BLS, Another old CK-member - very smart, aware and composed guy who loves his Pashtun people. I have a lot of respect for him.
tor_Khan, this member the embodiment of what a Pashtun should be like. I've loved tor_khan since the old CK days and he commands the respect of everyone he meets (online and in real life I'm sure). Again, very knowledgeable and always polite, even if you disagree with him.
Shayesta, another very smart, fervent and passionate Pashtana."If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be".
"Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives".

The most intelligent person in this forum is nokia apridy . I wonder if someone could debate him in pashto
Nokia Afridi is a ANP government supporter, no offence intended but his love for Pakistan is quite obvious.
Secondly, he said to me Wazirs kicked out Uzbeks and Mahsuds welcomed Uzbeks as some kind of insult towards me, but as usual with his disinformation he didnt mention the reason why wazirs of Wana kicked out uzbeks, it is because Uzbeks killed an Alqueda commander who was very close to Mullah Nazeer. He also didnt mention that there are pro government uzbeks who roam very freely in North Waziristan.
He shouldnt be seen as intelligent as he has no idea of what truely is going on. Iam not saying this to degrade his reputation amongst his Pakistani ANP fans but sadly he has a problem with people who attack Pakistan army and spends his whole day calling people as northern alliance tajik and uzbek agents when his own Asfandyar is the biggest fan of India well according to many Pakistanis.
Kind Regards

Wow, Toramana! To be considered intelligent and a brilliant scholar by YOU is simply shocking to me! I don't think I'm even close to what you describe or accept me as, but I must thank you for your extreme generosity in putting me on the same boat with some people that I consider intelligent!
Thank you!
Now, if this were coming from someone whose posts I didn't search for almost daily, then it wouldn't mean anything. But it's coming from you!!
I guess I can only promise never to let you and other intellectuals of ours down.
Sure, but in hell only!Originally posted by Levanaye Zalmaye View Post

And in hell, the fire will be SO haunting for you, that that that ... that you won't even NOTICE that Gulalai is there with you! hah. Take THAT!
LOL! I knooooow! I don't know why I get the funnest moments of PF, mara...Originally posted by Levanaye Zalmaye View PostQrratugai, known her since the CK days. and LOL @ jealous of Zakir Naik. Yeah, I'll never forget that
But since those come people whose opinions don't matter to me, I don't bother with them. Otherwise, I'd have given them some thoughts and worked on my thinking style and all, you know?
Oh, and both of you guys left out Mohsinaaaaaaa!!! That girl has impressed me from day one as well. The only thing is, she needs to work on her approach to pro-Pakistanis, since she can get a bit too aggressive with them. But her intelligence shines all through PF, and no one can deny that.
I hope to be with her for eternity as well, lol.

We understand that, wror gula, but this isn't about who supports what. It's about people who Toramana considers intelligent, and liking/disliking a certain country has nothing to do with one's intelligence.Originally posted by MazloomyarMaseed View PostNokia Afridi is a ANP government supporter, no offence intended but his love for Pakistan is quite obvious.

Yep, I agree. I myself don't agree with all of the people Toramana has listed, as there are some people I'd take out and others I'd add. I'm WAY too picky when it comes to deciding who's intelligent and who's not.Originally posted by Dreamer View Post^make your own list of people you deem intelligent

I am really sorry for the useless threads, member of the week, this and that.
Discuss the serious problems.
Baghdad is burning and mullahs are sitting at farat and discussing if rafae yaden is there in salat or not.
if ameen with loud voice is allowed or forbidden.
When Changez khan conquerred Iraq and occupied Baghdad, he asked a woman that what do you think about Changez Khan, she replied, that he will be destroyed by Allah, and he will be in the Qahar of Allah, Changez Khan replied, ya Changez khan will be sometime, but you are now directly in the qahar of Allah, and killed her.
We are discussing what type of useless things?

Toramana, are you from KW as well? If so, over 80% of the females I got to know there were VERY intelligent. The males, too, posses so much intelligence that it's admirable and I have learned a great deal from each one. I miss them so much; I wish KW was still active.Originally posted by Toramana View PostHahaha, few years back, we lamented the lack of good writers on Pashtun forums and considered ourselves big guns...now we have this glut of Pashtun youngsters hungry for knowledge and with the ability to put forward their point eloquently...
the above list is in no way exhaustive and i will add to the best, very good, and good categories as i read the posts by the remaining members...

I'm not sure about the sensitive part, but intelligence is extreeeeeeemely important to some people -- like me, for example. People with no intelligence turn me off big time.Originally posted by Dreamer View Post
I think some people are getting 2 sensitive about this thread about whose intelligent and who isnt... I personally couldnt care less !
