          • Afghan culture...

Whereby guests come and give chocolates as a gift before leaving.
But those chocolates are not eaten.
They are saved, ready to be given to others when we are guests.
So now someone else has those chocolates.
They in-turn give it as a gift when they become the guests.
            And so the cycle continues.

Why does no-one ever eat the bloody chocolates?!!

And it's generally really expensive like ferrero roche or those luxury belgium ones.

But I suppose I should be glad i'm not eating those chocolates now considering that the same box of chocolates has probably been in circulation for countless generations and probably all mouldy now LOL.

To advise others is an easy matter, the difficulty is accepting advice -- since it is bitter for those who follow their
            own inclinations and desires
            .

                • i would not want to wear one of those face masks in kabul even though i should, it would not be good for my credibility.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

                    • those chocolate boxes are not eatable. they are made of jelly like substance and they taste horrible. if not gifted to someone else, it goes on the display of the cupboard in the guest room. try opening one and trying some for yourself if you think i am kidding.
