So none of you know for sure what actually happened to her. This is strange. How can someone just 'disappear' and nobody knows about him/her. We probably need some investigative Afghan journalist to interview the relatives of all those Afghans which died mysteriously during the revolution and beyond and find out the truth. People like Ahmad Zahir, Esmat (Communist turned Mujahiddin commander in the south), Bakht Zamina, Hafizullah Amin and many more. Could make a pretty valuable book comprised of the causes of the deaths of these people.

Usually these things are done by family members. The political avenue is just a scapegoat. I doubt the insurgent groups cared about her since she wasn't active in politics.

Amin was killed by Russian, there is no doubt about this since both his family and the russian who had taked part on the operation had confirmed this.

Ahmad zahir was not killed by communists, this is another baseless lie which has been spread by some parchamis who hates khalqis and blamed khalqis for killing of Ahmad zahir. As matter of fact khalqis released ahmad zahir from prison where he was serving his time for killing one of his wives. Ahmad zahir died a traffic accedent in salang pass while driving drunk. The people who were with him at the trafic accedent confiremed that version. His family and some supports are trying to make of him a political figure hoping to cover the real story but the fact is that he was a good singer but he was a womenizer and loved alcahol so this two take his life.

Esmat Muslim was Mojahedin commander who joined the government and he was given liberity to do whatever he would liked to do without any kind of presecution. He was involved in smuggling goods from spin boldak and was earning lots of money from his business. He died in prague due to over consumption of alcohol so his death was natural as well.

Just go to some part of Afghanistan which is controlled by taliban or some other dark and close minded islamist wearing a jeans and see what will happen to you.

Of couse the family of ahmad zahir wouldn't mention what was the real reason behind the traffic accedent. Would anyone especially afghans would say that their son died because he was driving under influnece of alcahol with two under age panjshire *****s from kate parwan?

Asmet Muslim was giving some liberities because the government need him and the support of achikzai tribe which controlled spin boldak but the government back then wasn't like karzai's government that they would allow a warlord to do anything that he would liked to do.
