How would you feel if someone says Pakistan has no value, since nearly every terrorist on earth somehow is associated with Pakistan, and nearly every bomb blast in Afghanistan or India is originated in Pakistan, and that the very founder of Pakistan wasn't much of an Islamic figure either, how would you feel? There is nothing Islamic about Pakistan, Afghanistan, or India. All 3 follow western systems, and don't forget that Pakistan is merely a British creation, where the divide and conquer algorithm has certainly worked.

Each country has good and bad. India has great people, nice people, and terrific people. India also has SOME bad people, rude people, etc. Pakistan also has good people, nice people, and terrific people. Pakistan also has terrorists, suicide bombers, gangsters, rapists, along with corruption and crime.I repeat, this is a phase; and I can promise you 5 years later, when you look back at your post, you will regret what you are saying.

    Best,

Patriotism is not a bad thing but patriotism should be based on the love for one's nation and not on the hatred for another nation. Even the prophet (saw) loved Madina.

      @ Al Hanif
Some Pashtuns argue that their downfall has been due to their love for Islam and their naive thinking that all people who call themselves Muslims are as sincere and bound by the same code of honour as themselves. Pakistan, who were the main backers of Taliban before US invasion, suddenly became friends with the US. Simple minded Pashtun atalibqn could simply not believe how another Muslim nation can turn their back on them so easily. Simple Pashtuns don't understand that not everyone who says they are Muslim are really Muslim. Pashtuns are simple and straight up people who don't mince their words and are not afraid to stand for what they believe in. Their downfall is that they are too naive and don't recognise their Fnds from their enemies. They are too isolated and uneducated to know to what games are being played on them in the name of Islam, communism etc.

what's the common denominator between Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Turkey, Najibullah, Bin Laden

they all worked hands in hands with the west/non-muslims

        >Saudi Arabia with the Quincy Pact is the biggest ally of Americans and Zionists

(I just realised that the english version of wikipedia doesn't even mention the Quincy Pact)

        >Saudis with the help of Lawrence of Arabia destroyed the Ottoman Caliphate which united most muslims

        >Pakistan lets American drones on its territory and supplies American invading troops in Afghanistan

        >Turkey is part of Nato and a close friend of Israelis

        >Najibullah was a puppet of the Soviets

        >Bin Laden was a friend of Bush family

It looks like the problems of the muslim world come from external sources.

what's the common denominator between Talibans/Saddam's Iraq/Islamic Republic of Iran

They all tried/try to resist western hegemony.

        They all are heavily demonized.

I'm not saying that Saddam and Talibans did not commit crimes but obviously the west wants to destroy them because they are obstacles to their power, just like it demonized North Korea.

Chavez and Gaddafi in Venezuela and Libya did pretty well so they demonized them too.

Their project is clear if you really look at it.

If you don't surrender like Turkey or Japan, and become anti-traditionnal anti-christian anti-muslim degenerates, war awaits you.

You are all condemned to be part of the New World Order.

While I agree that Punjabis are more westernized and more prone to individualism and accepting non-islamic ideologies, Pashtuns also have a share in the regional problem.

There is a heavy cultural fundamentalism among Pashtuns.

In that region people tend to go from one extreme to another.

And it's never extreme Islam (submission to Allah SWT).

It's always extreme submission to cultural practises (Pashtuns) or extreme submission to the west and western ideologies (Punjabis) with many of the two groups overlapping.

^ the whole region is messed up, even indian muslims to be honest, who in India are known as gangters, much of the underworld crime is supposedly done by them. There are individual good proper muslims every where, however as a society we are not and are very far away from Islam

Well pashtun culture is pretty compatiable with Islam. Pashtun culture emphasizes the same things as Islam does such as leading a moral life, being upright and protecting one's honour, respect for elders, love for the homeland etc. There are some aspects of Pashtun culture which are controversial such as the insistance on revenge and dislike for forgiveness, while in Islam forgiveness is preferred to revenge except in some extreme cases.

So Pashtuns being extreme in their culture makes them better Muslims since Pashtun culture preaches the things as Islam with a fee minor exceptions. I highly doubt that extremism in pashtun culture is the reason for our downfall. I would say if it wasn't for pashtun culture and its affinity to Islam that Pashtuns would have turned out the same as Tajikistanis (from Tajikistan) and Uzbeks of Uzbekistan where praying 5 times a day is considered a crime. I think one of the reasons why Islam appealled to Pashtuns in the first place is because Pashtuns identified with the same cultural values that Islam preaches.

Sometimes people do things which they think is the ultimate show of devotion but in reality they are only following their own misguided understanding. So people can fool themselves into thinking what they are doing is the right thing to do but due to their misundrestaning of the issue they are considered extremists. This can happen to misguided religious people or followers of any other ideology. What we need is the proper understanding of Islam and our cultures so we go to extreme in neither case thus not defaming the religion of Allah (swt) and commiting sin by attributing to Islam what is only our own misguidance and ego.
There is no extremism in Islam bit only in people's wrong interpretations of it.

Why do paki pashtuns hate india? i understand not liking india or being indifferent towards it because it is not a muslim country but whenever i hear these paki pashtuns hating on india i laugh because they are getting involved in other peoples beef, punjabi pakis vs india. give it a rest, chico. i feel its as ridiculous as pashtuns getting involved in the turkish-kurd dispute.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

i am happy for you. whether you recognize yourself as a pakistani or an afghan, that is your own personal business. you can claim to be as much of a muslim as you want to but you don't have the right to tell anyone else that they are not muslim enough or not as much of a muslim as you are.
