You are correct but one of the many ways I can tell Tajiks apart from Pashtuns is that Tajiks are very slight in build. Why havn't the Afghan Tajiks adapted that way? Maybe it has something to do with the diet or more manual labor.

Thats because Tajiks are recent migrants. Their origin homeland is up north of Afghanistan from places like tajikstan and Uzbekistan. There are less mountains there and climate is pretty bearable.

Dear brother, I understand your anger on Tajik trolls, but to say that Tajiks are lazy is quiet wrong. Please don't loose yourself in hate. Tajiks(at least from Tajikistan) are the most hardworking people I ever saw in my life. In Russia they work in a way, that for me is regarded as slavery and that i never would do even when i am in need. These people work almost without rest, making hardest work, living almost outside and geting a little payment that they send completely to their families. They have a very good characteristic compared to us armenians, they are not so sich of "material social status".
Infact some stupid comedian shows led by my landsmen laugh about Tajiks, so that today Tajiks hate us Armenians often because some of our comedians liked by russian made the ignorant part of Russians think that Tajiks are a kind of stupid nation born only to obey and work.
My personal experience is the opposite, I saw in them the highest human qualities and moral qualities.
Maybe there are fanatics among Tajiks, but hey, everywhere there are fanatics, also among us Armenians and you Pashtuns.

Well , some racism is in Tajikistan as well, but it has not only rcial but religious reasons. Many Pamirians have problems with Tajiks. I have some friends from Ishkashim that say they are not liked by Tajiks and that Tajiks consider them as some underrace. But it seems that it has also to do with religion, as most Pamirians are Ismaili with a strong substrate of preislamic beliefs and keep their culture. The last years there have been even some armed conflicts between Pamirians and Tajiks if I am not wrong.
Still it doesn't apply to all people.
About Afghan Tajiks I cannot say anything, i suppose to know some, but I am not sure as they hide their ethnicity and tell me always that they are Afghans, still they don't know Pashto or any other language except Dari, so I suppose they may be Tajik. However almost all people i met from Afghanistan were great people.

Pashtuns are far from uniform in physical appearance. In some cases we can be extremely varied, especially compared to some other groups. We're nowhere near homogenous.
