PashtunsEven Adobe Photoshop can't change me.
A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Lol, how long did it take you to type that out, really? By the way, I still remember the scarcastic and crude manner in which you addressed me in your vile thread about Zarsanga. I don't think I could ever forgive you for it but I will try.Originally posted by tor_khan View PostYou're right. Khan rhymes with Khan. Well done. Guess what, Joe rhymes with Schmoe.

I find it impossible that a punjabi/white guy/jew/insert-ethnicity would categorically hate any pashtun. The worst enemy is im afraid a severe lack of education and a severe imbalance in society with respect to individual freedoms ( The Man vs. The Woman )It's enough that I know, Our time had a home, In your heart..Was a place..But the glass always breaks..

Thank you for being the bigger man.Originally posted by Joey_Gladstonezai View PostI don't think I could ever forgive you for it but I will try.
It is good to know that someone is trying to forgive me for my transgression.
Vile???? Remind me. I have the potential to be all of the above, I am sure, but there is a possibility that you received my response differently to the way I typed it. Other than that, people who take the odd off the cuff remark more seriously than intended may find that their stay here will be short and miserable. Afghanistan and Pakistan are not for the faint-hearted. I would advise a thicker skin.Originally posted by Joey_Gladstonezai View PostLol, how long did it take you to type that out, really?
