I rightfull question! I would say none, but it is difficult how to define that. For example ancient armenian has probably the same distance to modern armenian as a pamirian language to its ancestor language, still we did not change ethnonym and consider ourselves as a continous history.
An other example are for example Lezgic languages, already the ancient greek historians described dialects that exist till now, still the languages remained quiet close and those dialects of the Lezgic tribes exist. Only one has had a written form.

Still that is difficult to evaluate,

I would say that Pashtuns as a distinct identifiable ethnicity probably between 1000-1100 AD because we only find a specific reference to Pashtuns "proper" around this time. That's my speculation but I'm basing this on the evidence we have available.
Seems also difficult to define if those theories of mixed genetical origin should be true, I heard so many theories on Pashtuns or singular tribes origin, that i got quiet confused.

Like i said only its literature is 500 years old. Has it ever occurred to you that pashtuns were living in a nomadic tribal society similar to what they are living in now? There's your answer. I have to agree with Tjanapara no living language today is the same as an ancient language that was spoken by its inhabitants in the past. All ancient languages of the world are either extinct (like old English) or a modern dialect of the old language.

All these people are today's desendats of today's pashtun. History proves this, the Pactyans for example who inhabited Archosia are believed to be today's pashtuns from paktia. That is where the word paktia derives from. Bactrians were pashtuns as their language was very similar to today's Pashto. But in general pashtuns are a homagenous group, every tribe has different origins, and if you believed pashtuns came into existence after 1100 ad then we can just agree on that they came from the 10 lost tribes. Would that sound more plasauble?

OBVIOUSLY Eastern Iranian languages are related; BUT that doesn't mean bactrians were Pashtuns or vice versa. Bactrian is also related to Parthian and Khwarzami and Soghdians, are Pashtuns Soghdians, Khwarzamis or Parthian? Well perhaps their descendants. but not those people themselves

                    http://www.iranicaonline.org/articles/bactrian-language
Bactrian thus occupies an intermediary position between Pashto and Yidgha-Munji on the one hand, Sogdian, Choresmian, and Parthian on the other: it is thus in its natural and rightful place in Bactria.

How about we agree Pashtuns are a mish mash of different types of people who eventually converged and OVER time became Pashtuns rather than fabricate some weakly supported faricial history of us being 5000 years old or some other nonsense; Just because an ancient language was "similar" to Pashto doesn't make THAT Language Pashto anymore than Latin is French.

And let's stop trying to make silly word associations. In another language VERY Similar to ours; called Farsi, PUsht means "buttocks"; so should we believe Pashto came from this word too? Let's be honest to ourselves here.

the first one and the last one.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

What the hell have Jews got to do with Pashtuns...show me a single Jew who has bombed Pashtuns or a single Jew who blew himself up as suicide bomber in Pashtun region.

The biggest enemy of Pashtuns is Pashtuns themselves alongside Arabs and naive traitors who choose lizard eating Arab values over modernising society for the betterment.

Pashtuns are their own biggest enemy and until they fully unite, they will be taken advantage of by the negative aspects and parts of every other group mentioned on that poll

we are the tools of destruction for everybody else, to manipulate whenever they want and utilize whenever they want, and we allow ourselves to be used
