i don't know what it is about this movie that makes me wish i had stumbled upon the book instead. judging from how shallow good stories become when transformed in to movies, the novel version of this must have been quiet something because for a movie that was made in 1947, this truly is a unique one.

I dont rememer the name but it was about some black guy whos dad forced him to do boxing but what he actually wanted was to jump rope with the girls

I think in the end he stood up to his father and became one of the girls on the jump rope team
