Shooting in the air is very common among pashtuns as well especially the villagers.

WE do it during circumcission, wedding and other celebrations.

I don't persoanlly like it as it might cause unnecessary accidents.

In the neighborhood and inside Peshawar city heavy firing was heard for around 40 minutes continually today when the clock said it's 12.

Ask anyone and than come tell me Peshawar isn't a crowded city?
