People have been on the move since Day 1.

In terms of 'the West' there is negative population replacement with lower fertility and an ageing population. In 20/30 years time, places like Germany will have an inverted population pyramid, with more older people than younger. The older sections of population will need supporting and population replacement there is probably only going to be met with by (more) immigration.

Really, when I was posting this thread, I suddenly had the feelings you would respond to it. But that doesn't answers my question. I mean from the perspective of an immigrant or the society where the immigrants come from, is it bad or good?

Huge flights of Black (Asian, African, etc. and other non-Whites) people to the West = Good, infact Great.

Huge flights of White people to the East? Nothing short of colonialization and total disaster.

No what the hell are you talking about??? If it was me and not my parents that left afghanistan.. I would have stayed.. Went to school there and worked just like i do here maybe my lifestyle would have been different but i would have stayed.. Thats why im planning to go back soon

sitting at home is not work and any tasks done therein is merely either homework or housekeeping. true work happens outside the core.

No it doesnt and u should know.. There are plent of ppl i know in usa that work from home.. U can have a career that pays alot and not even step out of ur house once for it haha i actually know this guy who makes 200,000 a year doing some budget stuff for a company.. But he works from home :P

Immigration is inevitable especially in this day and time (humans have been immigrating/travelling for thousands and hundreds of years). Immigration is neither good or bad, but rather the outcome depends on the immigrant (if they'll contribute to their new society or not). In a few hundreds of years, humans will probably no longer be split apart due to current political boundaries, many Scientists have said that most humans (regardless of their ethnicity) will intermingle/reproduce with one another until they are all but one ethnicity due to Immigration and the fact that the world is now smaller than ever.
