Pisho you are right I too know of Russian muslims (on the run i assume) who have afg nationality. This is what meant about abuse of system. I think it is still happening in remote provinces, but it is getting harder. Kabul bureaucracy is tight as they are under greater scrutiny.
Any Afghan citizen here with dual nationality?

I have the Afghan and German citizenship.
Every Afghan born in Afghanistan cannot lose his Afghan citizenship.
And I personally know alot of people from the Qabayil (FATA and KPK) who have Afghan nationality and served in the Afghan Army. The only constant is change.

in the 80s it was still possible to get afghan passport and citizenship if you were pashtun and you could trace back by any tazkera and the goodwill of the people in charge and some one who would speak for you .and it was given in generell to all pashtuns who applied for it .
but after 1992 , no state no regulations no nothing .
i dont know how it works to day , ofcourse it will work with some greenback and connections , but i doubt if they continue the practise .
<<<<<<<<<<<<< me very happy to having an old orginal tazkeera with a picture of me in ^^, by the way i am willing to adopt you if you need an afghan father for getting a passport , ofcourse a certain fee is needed .
and if some one asks you how old you are answer them 8 or 10 ^^

Dear Tor Kham, normaly it is possible to keep Your citizenship to your children even if you live abroad. That is nothing special. If the parents of those children did not apply for russian citizenship or did keep their Afghan one normally their children can takealso Afghan nationality.Ա՜խ, ընկել եմ քար ու քարափ,

true, you can apply for as many nationalities/passports as long as you are eligible and the new govt does not stipulate that previous nationality be relinquished.
with dual passports i fear you are in problem either if you apply for diplomatic or government leadership posts, or if you present one passport at one entry point and another at different entry point, or passport control finds other passport, then you may have a conflict of documents - passport control people like to see entry/exit stamp, and because two or more passports look suspicious - one might be covering identity to defraud.
my 11 year old son has two passports, and I worry he might end up in problems at passport control in the future.
BTW what i was trying to say is the now the afg govt is tightning up citizinship checks because foreigners have acquired documents, entered the country, commited acts 'against the state' and govt then has difficulty tracing culprits. previously it was easy to become a citizen - just find to willing afghans to support your application.
