Sadly, that is exactly why they make such things, it is just cheap flesh and male female parts flashing and waving. One moment they will be talking to each other in a class room, the very next, the girl will be destroying all the country side with her jumping and dancing.

^ Most of the anti-Pakistani or anti-Indian film are just a waste, because each side portrays their enemy as bad and never themselves. I had a Pakistani friend very long time ago who was shedding tears of sadness for a film about Pakistan and it's patriotism, while I was holding back tears of laughter. I didn't want to come across as rude you know.

LOL, every second Amitabh came out of nowhere giving lectures about how great India is, and even murderers actually fell for it. Hahaha! Oh and not to forget, the absolutely ridiculous action scenes!

Oh well, I guess we have to accept the fact we are gonna lose another plenty of time on things we find absolutely useless. And this makes me think, sometimes we know an particular is very biased and not worth spending time on. But yet we do it, why is it so?

The only meaningful Indian movie I've watched was "Taare Zameen Par" ("Stars on Earth"). It is directed by Amir Khan, who I believe is not only one of the best actors of India but clearly a humanitarian as well! I've so much respect for him now after having watched that film.

It was about how much pressure parents put on their children, often without realizing that all children are not the same and need help. The story starred a young dyslexic kid whose school principle didn't know what was "wrong" with him and whose parents thought he was just dumb and stupid for reading stuff incorrectly. For instance, a "d" would appear to him like a "b" or a "p" like a "q."

It was SO touching as well. I'm gonna treasure it all my life.

I also liked "Aaja Nachle." Of course, I think that Madhuri the Beauty Queen just makes the whole screen extra appealing with her feminine moves and superb acting skills, but that's not the only reason I loved it: This movie was sort of about how we LOVE to watch dances but HATE the dancers themselves, or don't want our own folks to go into dancing. I enjoyed it quite thoroughly.

Other than that, I'm not into Indian films. Their songs are, I must admit, beyond beautiful, though. But not the music videos, acting, or story-lines.

Oh, and the new actors and actresses lack good acting skills -- rather, JUST acting skills. Period. I heard Amisha Patel (from "Kaho Na Pyar Hai") was recruited into the movies by a movie director who saw her at a party and told her she was stunning and that he'd love to have her act in his films. Katrina Kaif, I believe now Salman Khan's ex-GF, was recruited by Salman. There's also an Aishwarya Rai look-alike, some girl named Seethi? Not sure. She's in the film "Lucky: No Time for Love" and the songs I've seen with her in them are HORRIBLE!

So, yeah, Bollywood doesn't have many good actors or actresses, mostly because they get them to be in the movies for the wrong reasons. The older ones with a lot of acting experience (like Madhuri, Shahrukh, Ajay, Kajol, Karishma) are not active in the film industry, and the new ones lack EVERYTHING -- from culture to attitude to personality to skill.

I actually like pretty much all Amir Khan films. From Andaz Apna Apna to 3 Idiots, each time he comes out as a professional and indeed a perfectionist.

Yeah, I've seen that, it was a very good film.

I haven't watched a bolly movie for a coupla years, not that into them either. The old ones were definitely much better, just like you summarised Que. Like ''Taal'', ''Devdas'', and even ''Mughle Azam'' - where both the main characters are Pashtun.
