For me You are an american of pakistani origin. Frankely speaking the non-pashtun pakistanis are worst in maintaing their langauge (urdu, punjabi) , culture and identity in the west. In such case Pashtuns and afghans are comparitively better than them.
The members here who were grown up in afghanistan or pakhtunkhwa and then went to west , are not suffering from identity crisis but their children would definately suffer from it.

I don't know if I've seen the same. Many Pakistanis that live in the US/Canada still acknowledge their roots. A lot are pretty close to it, even.

I think I do have identity crisis, and I dont know who I really am and where do I belong

For example culturally I am pakistani, but I never lived there ( only visited it every year), I was born in saudi arabia and lived there till I was 15 and then I moved to Canada and I am here since.

So really who am I? a pakistani, a saudi or a Canadian? or every thing?

just take a look at Pakistani Punjab official website it says they are descended mainly from Iranians, Afghans, Turks and Arabs...No mention of any Indic/Desi origins at all, even though most of them look more South Indians before any of those groups lmao
