So eating cow meat is OK but not Dog?

Who are other people to judge them?

Muslims might not eat it because its not allowed in their religion but why would an atheist or non religioius people have a problem with eating dog meat when they themselves eat pig meat or other forms of meat. Isn't that just hypocracy?

In hindu religion cow is a sacred animal but do other people think twice before consuming beef?

Its not about the consumption, its about the treatment and how the dogs are killed

Because if at least people think they have to take someones lfe for their purpose they should treat that Living with respect and thankfull, and always remember that they take only as much as needed to survive and not to destroy innecessarily

It has nothing to do with eating or not eating dog meat ! I don't care if they eat pig or their own feces. It's how the animals are treated that is shocking.

These animals did nothing bad to be treated in a cruel way like this.

I'm not a PETA nutjob, I have no problem with shooting down killer dogs who attacked people for no reason and mutilated them. But in this video there is cruelty against animals, it has nothing to do with their diet choices.

If you don't see there is something wrong with this video, then there is something wrong with you.

That might be true for some people but there is no moral duty for them to respect the animal before killing it.

Some people think humans are animals too but just more intelligent than other animals. They say humans are at the top of the food chain and if there is no good and evil and right or wrong, why should they care?

Necessity can not be an excuse, there is plenty of non meat food available in the modern age. We don't have to kill animals.

If You want to ask this really from those people who do it or say it is ok - than the answer is easy - for such people the world is pur material - and sothey do not care - they have no place for faith , for love for respect .
They use stomach instead of brain and their dirty wishes instead of heart.

Some people think torturing animals before killing them enhances the taste. I saw a programme about this. They were eating the brain of the monkey when it was still alive 0.o
It was in some far east asian country.

the brain is eaten fresh, spooned out of the skull while the monkey is still alive. In the western world this is considered unacceptable

Ofcourse I have a problem with this and its haram and since I am muslim I find it disgusting and I am sure many others do as well.

What I am trying to say is that when people don't believe in good and evil, how will you convince them that what they are doing is wrong? They don't care what your opinion is about something.

I agree with You about that there is a plenty of non meat food(me personally do not even consume meat), but the question is not about eating.
A predator in top of the food chain kills as much as he needs to survve, he doesn't use cruelty, and even if he kills in a brutal way it is due to he has no "gun" , but only teeth!

Right and wrong and good and evil are momentary and changing ideas, but trouth is continous - there is not much needed to understand simple correlations in the world wherethe human lives - even a knowledge of alphabet is not needed to understand that we live in a world where not to harm ourselfes we should take only as much as needed.
Cruelty is also a thing every child feels(at the begining at least).

It is simple - if people live not by brain but are controlled by their own senses(lust, taste....) it is the lowest level of being.

Eating for taste can be already a sickness, more one is ruled by such senses more he is far from any faith - he has surely his concepts of "good"(good meal" and "bad"(bad to feed my guests with apples, cause later they will say "ow this stupid even couldn'T cook comething tasty and surprising and unforgettable).

Unfortunately yes, I have seen far worse thing by my crazy neighbours when I was a small child and till now I remember those awfull scenes where I was to small (4-5 years) to do anything.

My uncle has hundreds of sheeps and goats, 6 big cows and dozens of chickens but the animals are always treated well, until their last seconds of life.

When it is done, it is always according to the halal method, which has been proved to be the least painful one according to specialists :
