      Calm Yourself

Brothers let us not divide pakhtuns amongst any country , nationality is something else and ethnicity is different. We should respect pakhtuns and consider them as a single entity, maps do change but blood never.
We should unite ourself under our culture and protect our breed , and should learn from arabs , jews , indians, white people, black people wherever they are in which ever nationality they keep they see themselves as ONE!

Why we live in curse why not we be UNITED!

Shehbaz Khana don't worry ignore them...

As for shadowgoverner and khushal this has been said about a billion and one times by now. I'm not a fan of Pakistan either and nor am I for the existance of it because of its hypocrisy as a state but what can we do sit down and cry about it? You guys burn soo much energy and time into ranting and raving at other guys from pakistan here, just simply for the fact that they live in pakistan and call themselves pakistani. What a joke, people must think this forums is such a circus, pakhtuns attacking pakhtuns constantly...If your so hurt about the land being split apart, then actually go and do something about it. Go get an education(if you do not already have one), get a job, think of ways to educate the pakhtun population in afghanistan, think of ways to strengthen our people. The Japanese were nuked into oblivion, everything was set back to the stone ages. What did they do sit down and cry? NO they worked hard, united and brought themselves to such a status that they are now one of the richest countries in the world...We muslims constantly attack each other 24/7, if we can't stop doing this how are we expected to develop and stand on our own two feet.

            1. Although Japan was nuked, the didn´t let anyone split their nation into North- or Sout Japan.

            2. For someone who has the rebellious flag of Waziristan as his profile picture, you sure seem to be far far away from what Pakhtun independence means.

Look how brainwashed they are Mostafa. The Panjabis are telling them that they were sold, and he is falling for it for repeating it. Its like when a slave questions why the master owns him and the master tells him that he was sold. How the hell can you give someone else the right to sell you.

Shahbaza, You are pashtun, you are your own master. No one owns you nor can anyone sell you. Wake up Yara.

this is going to be fun. people with their head in the sand will continue to harp on about the supposed mutual exclusivity between being afghan or Pakistani and their tired-old lies. To tell you the truth, Pakistani pashtuns don't feel any reason not to identify themselves as Pakistanis. The ones across the international border in Afghanistan are either windbags or brainwashed drones, probably both. They'll continue with their conspiracy theories and delusional fantasies. They have a problem with Pakistani Pashtuns because the very existence of Pakistani Pashtuns is calling a bluff on their self-satisfied slogans of "durand line issue", "pashtun nationalism", "law or bar", "pashtunistan", "loy afghanistan", or dare i say the bluff that is the colonial buffer-state of Afghanistan. Sorry, had to state the facts, however unpalatable they may be.

On the whole, Pakistani Pashtuns, are integrating rapidly with the rest of Pakistan economically, socially, politically, and culturally; if they haven't done so already. Their complaints regarding Afghanistan are in common with the rest of Pakistan, though all Pakistanis love the people of Afghanistan. Not surprising that they've left behind Afghanistan or any construct of it mainly because they've never known it or ever wanted it. Their future, and the future of ALL Pashtuns lies with the indus valley (Pakistan).

p.s. don't know if calling your supposed brethren "sold" is constructive. And from what i know, they'd rather be "sold" than be under the yoke of kabul against their wishes.

                  ...incoming...

I dont want to unite with Lar Pakhtuns, unless the Pakistani state in every aspect ceases to exist. As long as a Pakistani state exists, unification of Pashtuns will lead to us Bar Pakhtuns becoming slaves of the Mughals

                    Pashtunistan is dead

Pashtunistan was never alive in what was intended to be become Pashtunistan.

I'll never understand the emotionalism regarding "becoming slaves". Afghanistan, due to its geography, will always depend on whatever political construct exists in the indus valley. Pashtuns migrate there, pashtuns invade there, pashtuns sell their goods there, pashtuns import food from there, pashtuns live there, pashtuns go for school there etc. What exactly would Afghanistan need in order to not become "slaves"? Say what you will regarding the line drawn by sir durand, but it delineates beautifully the areas which are naturally influenced by the indus valley/pakistan/south asia versus those that have a fighting chance of looking/concentrating the other way.

thats why we will always oppose Pakistan. because any construct that exists between us and India is un natural and strangles afghanistan. if there was no pakistan, we would be in a better position.

having said that, dont mind these kids. Theyve grown up on nationalist songs and durranai propaganda.

i agree with you. the durand line divides culturally the iranic worlds and the hindustani worlds. the indus river is the actual geographical marker

all of these lar pashtuns have been sucking at the british and then pakistani teet for decades. theyre happy where they are.

i always hear about how theres no difference between us Pashtuns. Actually theres a ton of difference. Our ancestors resisted the British, they were subject to it. Our people fought for independence, theyres had their independence granted by mountbatten. we have had to live a life of poverty for our independence, they never made a similar sacrifice

theres a ton of difference between us and lar pakhtuns. maybe once or twice a year we can fight eggs on eid and sing poetry together, and maybe hold a ceremony at bacha khans grave. thats it.

on an individual basis, i love em the way i love any good insaan. on a cultural level, i sympathize with them and have a connection. But Ill probably connect with a kid from my projects the same way, or a Toronto Blue Jay fan. I give props to Kakaristan but thats where it stops..

Why not Afghanistan and Pakistan unite under the name of Pakistan if you are so emotionally attached to this subject and it is so important for Pashtuns to be under one country?

I think Pashtunistan is a distant dream of Pashtun nationalists and people on the other side of the border. It can't become a reality because Pashtuns have integrated within Pakistan.

If there was no Pakistan than you would be depending on the construct that is india. leaving aside the arrogant delineation along the indus (divides gilgit, hindkowan areas, punjab, siraiki areas, and sindh, i think afghanistan is redundant ever since Pakistan came onto the scene. No reason for it exist other than holding onto the memories of the durrani empire.

having said that, dont mind these kids. Theyve grown up on nationalist songs and durranai propaganda. I never did mind them, just doing them a favor by getting them to come to a higher realization. a common understanding would bode well for a prosperous future, despite the differences. and i do admit i let my jingoistic side mess with them sometimes, but i wouldn't really care if kabul invaded and took over Paki territory. we're all still brothers.

i agree with you. the durand line divides culturally the iranic worlds and the hindustani worlds. the indus river is the actual geographical marker this brings me to the question regarding Afghanistan's internal politics, why the political fighting between the different ethnic groups? It's obvious that farsi/iranic stuff is going to play a large role, in addition to the largest single ethnic group, the pashtuns? why the forced pashtunization or the manufactured resentment amongst the "minorities"?

all of these lar pashtuns have been sucking at the british and then pakistani teet for decades. theyre happy where they are. an interesting way of putting it, but would make sense coming from an afghanistani pov. you guys see them as sellouts and yourselves as the true, honorable pashtuns. you also have to keep in mind that the Pakistani pashtuns have no concept of being part of Afghanistan for a good 300 years. no joint political aspirations or common struggles for that long of a period essentially means a permanent break.

i always hear about how theres no difference between us Pashtuns. Actually theres a ton of difference. Our ancestors resisted the British, they were subject to it. Our people fought for independence, theyres had their independence granted by mountbatten. we have had to live a life of poverty for our independence, they never made a similar sacrifice. i agree, VAST difference between the two groups. poverty is something everyone in central asia has to go through. working together and dropping imagined issues such as the durand line can go a long in addressing them.

theres a ton of difference between us and lar pakhtuns. maybe once or twice a year we can fight eggs on eid and sing poetry together, and maybe hold a ceremony at bacha khans grave. thats it. again, that difference is only natural after 300 years of separation, it's been cemented. most paki pashtuns wouldn't be down with a ceremony at bacha khans grave, though from my experience they appreciate the social side of him.

on an individual basis, i love em the way i love any good insaan. on a cultural level, i sympathize with them and have a connection. But Ill probably connect with a kid from my projects the same way, or a Toronto Blue Jay fan. I give props to Kakaristan but thats where it stops..pakistanis appreciate the love on an individual basis. culture for me includes religion and that's another reason why we'll always be connected. Me not even being pashtun i sympathize with afghanistan. i do get when paki pashtuns get tired of the constant political sloganeering from across the border and just wish that we can all move forward together. i know easier said than done, and probably won't happen
on a political note, since afghanistan will always oppose pakistan, it just makes sense for pakistan to do what it supposedly is doing in afghanistan. from the paki pov, there was never any reason for us to not live as brothers. reacting to the confrontational approach taken by kabul certainly has lead to overreactions from the paki side, but understandable reactions.

agree with your points. but to be quiet honest with you, people are more connected with those they have common ideological inclinations with rather than history, culture, language etc. for that reason, i hope afghanistan takes over ALL of pakistan and takes care of the delusional neoliberals, secularists, communists, etc...If afghanistan ever becomes a true Islamic state, i'd hope for them to take over kpk and pakistan and do the people of Pakistan a favor and kick these secularist m'fers out. They serve no purpose other than to be stooges for hostile foreign ideologies and forces.
