Can you bring some Salajeet for us?

            Stranger & Me

Stranger (thick Liverpudlian accent) at a train station. Me (Mr Plummy Oxford Vowels*)

            Stranger: Where are you going?

            Me: Kings Cross.

            Stranger: Your Late?

Me: For what? Have I missed my train?

Stranger: No mate, your late. I need one to late this cigarette.

Me: Aah ... you mean my light ... (duh) ... Sorry I don't smoke.

            Stranger: OK, no probs.

(... Stranger walks off, asks other people)

            5 mins later ...

            Stranger: Your late.

Me: Sorry, I think you asked me already. I don't smoke.

Stranger: You waitin' for the train to Kings Cross?

            Me: Yes.

Stranger: It was rescheduled and left from Platform B. You've just missed it.

I was once stopped by a 240 pound girl, who asked in a strong Desi accent:

"hey babeey... you want to go to disco party with me ya? I have daru in my car. Hop in babey, I will give you pleazure".

Actually that hasn't happened yet but one day, I wish it does happen.... I'll say yes.

I've been asked some right strange questions, one of them being ''Do siblings marry in Pak?''. This was from a boy in highschool, pretty young I guess so his ignorance is forgiven.

Yeah the liverpudlian accent is sometimes hard to follow, it sounds so strange, not fond of the sound of it to be honest. Not like the geordie accent!

                    A few corrections.

She wont say baby, she'll say Puttar. She wont say car, she'll say truck. She wont say hop in, she'll say climb your way up. Leaves less pleasure to give...
