brothers if i had posted this one,and its from the corp that operates within our villages in paktya province and i know some of the soldiers , they would have applauded it and praised it or even enjoyed watching it....how beautifully brother emkhan said : they are red because they are allied to shia or related to them.


here you go most of these guys deserted or worked just for money and getting the arms and selling them or even giving them as gifts,and some are of my village i know them personally and i lived with them when they were in the army and when they left.

It a nutshell, Al Arab, I wish Muslims would represent a more positive picture of themselves. We are in the year 1433 or 2012 depending on your calendar of choice. Since World War 1 Muslims have been at war, often with themselves and have often suffered the greater losses. Since we are not the power we used to be and war comes at a heavy cost, perhaps we need a change in tactic. Everyone knows that in this day and age, media increasingly wins, not nostalgia. More people are likely to take up the cause of Muslims, stick to the faith or come to it if we did a better job at promoting a less violent image of ourselves.

There are an estimated million drug addicts in Afghanistan, often victims of a cycle of poverty/successive wars and living on donor handouts. The same kind of picture is true in Pashtunkhwa and other parts of the Muslim world etc. When the picture is as bleak, expect people to question why we are in this dead-end/stalemate.

I hear a lot about Shias being wrong, but last I checked, they were not barred from going to the holy sites in Saudi, so presumably Sunni scholars still accept that they are in the fold of Islam. That's it/khallas, there's nothing more ordinary people can say about it.

In the circumstances therefore it becomes reasonable to assume that glorifying a war dance when the targets are other Muslim Pashtuns as twisted and this cannot be religious righteousness or some kind of ode to our older culture. Objecting to the possibility that we might be wrong within ourselves does not automatically make anyone soft on foreign invasions into our lands and all the conflict that has followed.

You make some very interesting an true statements in your post that I agree with fully. During my time on this forum I have also been an critic of certain aspects in the Ummah, our Muslim leaders, some peoples mentality and also criticized my own country (Iraq), the country of my wife and also the countries of my ancestors (Saudi Arabia, Syria etc.)

To take this discussion would require a very long post and an investigation of the many aspects and reasons for our current problems. To make it short we have suffered from bad leaders, dictatorship, poverty, colonialism, wars etc.

But I see real changes in the Muslim world, especially a close world for me, the Arab world. I see corrupt and Un-Islamic dictators removed and I see a better future, Insha'Allah. I cannot see any reason for why I should not be proud of being an Muslim or Arab. I also don't see the reason of constantly writing untrue statements about us Muslims like Karachi does. At the same time he never writes anything negative about the west although they have been responsible for most of our problems and responsible for most deaths and destruction in human history. We have nothing to be ashamed of compared to them. We can do better yes, but this is only an earthly life.

I personally don't want a Western society in Arab countries. This is not my culture or my ancestors nor is this a culture I feel attached to or regard as better or anything God given like some users here give an indication of.

We will never sort our own problems if we have such an negative outlook on things.

where were all the other arabs when afghanistan was invaded by the west and where were all the arabs when iraq was invaded by the west? there were probably more protets in the west against the invasion of iraq than in the arab world.

Anyway, on the topic, i find it quite funny that this Western born confused Islamist called Afghanistan2010 brings up a video on the kurram agency, yet he fails to demostrate any knowledge on the situation over there, he forgets the fact that the Pashtuns who are fighting their own Turi brothers are members of the SSP and other PUNJABI sectarian militant groups from the South of Punjab.

Afghanistan2010 also fails to include the fact that his Sunni Haqqani brothers have just made a peace deal with the Turi tribesmen to allow his men to shelter in Kurram to avoid the American drones, and this was all done with the guidance of the Pakistani Army.

Afghanistan2010 has just shown his ill intent towards the Pashtuns by titling his sectarian trash as "Real Pashtun Muslims" as sunnis and the "Shias" as not worthy of being Pashtuns.

I think the Admin team needs to keep on eye on Afghanistan2010 because one day I hope he gets thrown off a helicopter into Kurram agency, so a bunch of Turi tribesmen can teach him a lesson.

It is policy of the forum to ban members who promote ideologies that divide the Pashtuns.

I consider this thread by Afghanistan2010 no different than a Afghan Pashtun posting a thread saying Pashtuns in Pakhtunkhwa are not real Pashtuns, It goes against forum policies and Sectarianism SHOULD NOT BE TOLERATED.
