okay, so miniskirts don't necessarily translate to advancement but you guys are always so negative around here. when that girl was wearing a long scarf and proper clothes, it was all about how she bringing disgrace to the pashtuns and here it's all about how they are wearing miniskirts.

1) Those fancy universities and record stores in the pictures were only in Kabul, rural Afghan women's lives are pretty much unchanged.
2) They were Tajiks, or atleast Dari-speaking Kabuli Pashtuns. Moreover, the removal of clothes does not mean progress.
3) It is not sad and neither do I care, as I am a man and I do not have to do anything I don't want to.
