some pashtuns take pride in historically sheltering afghan minorities from the social and religious degradation that have befallen their brothers in neighboring "istans." if we take pride in our rule somehow preserving their deen, then we should also feel shame when they stray from their deen and stories like this pop up. a story like this is a shame on the whole afghan nation, not one group.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

i find this despicable but it doesn't matter what the tribe, ethnicity, religeous belief is. cruelty like this is done all over the world. it is the imperfection of humanity, in general that allows some humans to think it is ok to harm others. we have news similar to this appearing regularly, from all quarters.

It has nothing to do with islam or atheism or christianity. It has to do with the environment. Prisons all over the world have a higher practice of homosexuality than the general population.
My aim was to tell Kaish that the animal thing is not isolated to his afghan friends village.
But every person in an islamic society is not a saint. Islam and christianity clearly condemn such practice because it would be against the laws of god wheather the people tolerate or not. Im not so sure about atheists because Secular democracy would be ok with it as long as the majority tolerate it. I can name a society that exists today that does tolerate it and its because of secularism.

i meant to ask khushal how i misrepresented this crime last night but seems like he knows all about it. there is no point arguing someone who already has it decided in his mind that one is a certain type of a certain mindset or belief. if we were any better, this type of **** wouldn't be happening to our people.
I am not dismissing anything I was merely correcting Luffy because obviosly Luffy is not familiar with the areas of Afghansitan. He was under the impression they were pashtun which they are not. He has already been brainwashed by panjabis with false historical events.

You on the other hand had the whole story wrong. I dont know if you read the story or part of it but you automatically condemned islam for this crime by saying that he did this because she was refusing her wifely duties when in fact it had nothing to do with that.
This type of stuff happens everywhere in the world including the US and Canada where you live. The majority of human trafficking for the purpose of sex slavery's destination is the west.

This is because western human rights have come to the conclusion that rehabilitating the person is better than exectuing him. Islam preaches pardoning a person from execution if the person convert to islam.

what islam are you talking about? there is no islam in what has happened in here and had i condemned islam as you say i have, wouldn't i have deleted my post after farishta corrected me? yes i did think she was locked up for that reason and no i didn't condemn islam for anything. i should have put sharia between quotation marks though.
this type of thing happening everywhere else brings us back to the subject of goats and what not which is really something i don't want to discuss to be honest. [AS IF THERE IS NOTHING ELSE ON THE SURFACE OF THIS EARTH THAT YOU COULD BE DISCUSSING ASIDES FROM SOME PERVERT'S OBSESSION WITH GOATS.] this type of thing should not happen in afghanistan because we are said to be better than the rest of the world.

you are pissed off when a non pashtu speaking afghan from any corner of the country participates in olympics and salutes to a national anthem that isn't necessarily in pashtu but when something like this happens, you make it clear and let it be known that you will not tolerate being associated with someone whose rights have been abused just because it has happened in a shameful manner. what is the difference between you and a brother who kills his own sister for getting raped?
you are an afghan when there is something good coming out of it for you but then you become just a pashtun when it comes time for taking responsibility or facing the failures of that very same afghan society. had a pashtun given a single damn about what was happening at the other corner of afghanistan at a community where pashtu isn't spoken and allowed his excellent values to spread equally for everyone to take advantage of, this might not have happened.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

stop the blabbering. Its not my fault that you didnt read the story correctly and stop acting like these things are isolated to afghansitan. those areas are ruled by tajik warlords who participate in such crimes on a daily basis, the pimps customers were probably the warlords themselves. You have a country that have war criminals as the law makers. what do you expect, its a recipe for disaster. you are seing a repeat of what happened from 92-96 becasue the same war criminals are in power.

according to criminal recurrence rates in the US, they would be wrong. its always the liberals that want to see the criminals set free, though i doubt they would want them living near them once they get out.

considering that most muslims commit crimes in muslim countries, there is no issue of a person converting. pardoning is on the same level of punishment, as it is dependent on the victims judgement. though, even in the most heinous of crimes, the prophet punished the criminals.

selfish coward. set up a better example by not thinking in terms of us pashtuns rather than us afghans and then go after the war lords.

Afghans need to learn how to be better human beings. That is a reflection of their current situation.

The US rehabilitaion program is a joke, it actually accomplishes the oposite of what itis intended for. The criminal becomes more hard core coming out of a prison than what he/she was when they went in. All im saying is that western human rights are not that much differnt in certain aspects from Islam.

when did I think in such terms. I advocate to think of humanity as one that is why I say all this stuff happens all over the world where there are humans.

yes, because their "secular" basic laws are stolen from religious texts such as the Qur'an and the Bible.
