What were you doing 10, 20, 30... years ago?

20 years ago in 1412 I was only a few months old when born in Baghdad the city of Kitāb alf laylah wa-laylah (One Thousand and One Nights) in an eventful year.

In 1422 I was living in UAE after having spent the past few years with relatives in Jordan.

Now I am living in Jeddah with my extended family (my father's family), Saudi Arabia, Hijaz an area which I have ancestry from both from my father and mother with my wife. We are both studying but she expects two children soon so she will first return to studies after a year time.

In 10 years time I Insha'Allah will live in peace with my big family, healthy and first and foremost being a good Muslim, husband, father, brother and uncle and son and with a good job. But only Almighty Allah knows what the future will be. We are all completely in his hands.

20 years ago, was eating mud and getting told off for it

10 years ago, not going to school and smoking in the streets.

Now, weighing up my options and deciding which path to take in life.
