One woman stopped me in public based on my dress (abaya and hijab) and asked me if I was Israeli .

if i am around afghans that don't know me, they will right away tell me u must be pashtun bcause u have pashtun features... whatever that means.

with Whites i get Spanish or Italian a lot.

but i am quite impressed lately some Whites have told me u must be afghan, lol afghans are getting popular here.

Same here! I usually get Italian, Lebanese, or Venezuelan. But when i say no i am from Afghanistan. They get a surprised look, and then the sterotypes of what Afghans are protrayed from the media comes up. Some lady asked in a very sympathetic way, are you being forced to marry your cousin?
