if the subject was history or english, then the racism could have had an effect. However, if the subject was math or science, then, unless he changed your answers (possible but unlikely), it was the actual grade.

Back in high school, I experienced a racist English teacher, and she gave me a B+ on purpose whereas in all my previous English classes I had got As.
I think she didn't like it when I told her that Europeans are not Aryans, and that only people from Iran, Afghanistan can be considered Aryans if there is even such a "race" to begin with. I said this to her because she would keep talking about the Aryan race all the time lol. I reminded her that Aryan is a Sanskrit word, and she didn't like it.

After that I learned to put on a face, and just shut up like everyone else

In Western countries, the Indic Muslims (i.e., Punjabis, Urdu-Hindi speakers, etc.) are the most identity-conscious and have this siege mentality i.e., they think that they are being discriminated against due to their cultural and ideological background (also skin color).

I have a fisrt-hand experience of this attitude with at least three South Asian Muslims. One was extremely cunning. At the start of the semester, he told me that one of his professors was discriminatory towards him due to his racial and Muslim background. I suggested, he should be reconciliatory and hardworking. Later, I discovered he was weak in the subject and was using the racism card to pressure the professor to give him a passing grade.

At another occasion, another South Asian Muslim, whom I was taking a common course with complained that the professor was being more favourable towards me and was discriminating against him although in another course, he had got "failed" grade in three consecutive tests and the mid-term. Still, he was feeling he was being discriminated against due to his racial background.

The third experience I had with was also a South Asian Muslim who felt alienated when my department selected me to participate in a golf tournament----kind of appreciation for employees performance . He openly expressed his displeasure of that.

As a Pashtun, I believe Pashtuns should keep away from South Asian Muslims---an extremely deceitful lot with no strength of character and with a manipulative, exploitative, conspiring nature.

However, I have noticed South Asian Hindus, Sikhs, etc. are a dignified and humble people that would work hard to integrate and would not use such tactics.

Anyhow, I think many universities have got a human rights unit that deals with such things i.e., racism or discrimination based on religion, gender, etc. One can consult that.

I find South Asian Muslims to generally perform really well in school and have generally greater volume of achievements than most other Muslims, especially Pashtuns. Although Egyptians are more or less on par with them in terms of expatriates in academic fields is concerned.

From what I can observe however, of the South Asian Musims, the Pakistani Muslims generally perform lower than Indian and Bangladeshi Muslims. You however still find more Pakistani Muslims in highly developed academic fields than one may find Pashtuns. For example in my Alma Mater, there were several Pakistani Professors in the institution and it is considered one of the most reputable schools in fields of research. One is doing cutting edge research in Nano materials development and semiconductors. Others are just Physics, Math and Chemistry teaching professors but that is amazing in itself. I know quite a few notable Bangladeshi Academics.

My dad's partner is Bangladeshi and both of them have a small Nanophotonics company.

in fact here is a South Asian Muslim of Bangladeshi origin who is currently revolutionizing how we learn science and mathematics. His name is Salman Khan. How come we don't find many Pashtuns like that? Even the Secularized Nationalistic Ones are grossly uneducated, but pose as knowledgeable; yet lack basic understandings of key subjects like Mathematics or Biology as I observed in my debates with Toramana and the brainwashed Taliban fanatics on this forum.

Sadly I only know maybe a handful of Pashtuns who have made any meritable achievements in academics. One was a biochemist at SUNY Stony Brook, another was a Physics Student in Carnegie Mellon. MY dad has an Engineering background from Umass and my brother has a comp sci background from Cornell, my younger sister has a degree in Polymer Chemsistry; then again a taka spina Pashtun like Toramana has taken it upon himself to redefined the measures of Pashtunhood, wouldn't consider my siblings and I Pashtun because we have an Arab mother. Then again the guy doesn't know the rudiments of set theory; so perhaps his judgement is skewed

Most Pashtuns are either blinded sided by dogmatism of whatever variety, be it religious , nationalistic or otherwise. Ethnocentrism and pomp. Which is evident here.

The Pashtuns have a lot of potential. I don't see why there aren't prominent Pashtun scientists, but I think first things Pashtuns need to learn is humility; maybe then we can progress. And by humility I don't mean Butt-Kissing white europeans as seems to be Toramana's remedy for things; but knowing how to achieve in their own UNIQUE ways.

Buffoon, before spewing that camel ****/nonsense here, you should have known that you were going astray. The topic here isn't academic or professional achievement by one or the other community. Obviously, due to their numbers and earlier exposure to modern education not to mention resource exploitation, they are more developed.

The point here was strength and steadfastness of character. Just like Arabs might have one or two virtues despite being intrinsically an irrational lot with retrogressive proclivities, so also South Asian Muslims as well as Pashtuns have their failings (e.g., Pashtun is straight to the extent of gullibility ---Sourth Asian Muslims are clever to the extent of cunningness). There was no need for you to come here and wage that twisted camel tail in displeasure.

I know that most Arabs have a binary view of the world thinking Arabs are locked into some kind of cosmic struggle with the rest of the world that is blocking Arabs rise to glory ---and that almost every Arab has his/her big camel ego wounded due to the humuliation at the hands of the tiny Israel and the degraded position of Arabs in the world affairs despite their numbers, territory, and resources---and that every Arab wants to rally every other Muslim behind the Arab agenda disguised as Islam to restore the medieval glory of Arabs, this was not an occasion for you to brandish your Arab ego-centerism/ego-camelism. And, please, know that there are realities and a world beyond the evil Arabism( by Arabism here I mean the political ideaology centered at Arab primacy in Muslims affairs and Muslims struggle for their future).

Rest, I don't care whether you are the bright star of the house of Al-Saud or one of the tens of dozens of the faceless sons on the fringes of Bin Laden family tree as long as you don't come here and try to prove the Pashtuns to be kind of some extension of the Arab race to aswage your identity complexes. The vey idea of Pashtuns being from Arabs or having any affinity with them in any sense is really repelling for me. In that case, I will prefer not to identify myself with Pashtuns.

You're the most ethnically insecure person that exists on this forum. You want to know how I know this? Because everything you post is based on ethnic strata and defining people on ethnic terms. What you see as an identity complex and angst is something you project from inside of yourself.

Worse yet, your understanding of ethnicity isnt based on fact but are glaringly plagiarisms from the rhetoric of European Orientalist writers and uneducated ignorant North Americans; hence the persistent childish camel references. Clearly somehow you think you're being witty or provocative, but really it makes others laugh because it demonstrates how "Farangified" Mentally Colonized you are and in effect ...a direct contradiction to the Noble prestige of Pashtuns. In America you are what they call an "Uncle Tom".

Pashtuns are as chalak as everyone else; so chalak that they turn against each other for their own selfish motives. It has nothing to do with gullibility; but the blatant fact that the Pashtun ego is so hyper inflated that it will sacrifice itself just to prove it's power. Sort of like a Peacock flashing its feathers to boast of its glory only to get struck down like by hunters; it knows the dangers but it's pride and self aggrandizement is more important.

Your shallow and frankly grossly uneducated understanding of the Middle East and it's politics reek of not just abject brainwashing, but supreme ignorance and inaccuracy. You act as if Arabs themselves are some sort of Monolithic Cultural and Ethnic entity; something false. The Israel issue is not seen as a "humiliation' to Arabs on the whole; many Arabs like Jordan and Egypt, recognize Israel. The Israel issue itself is a classic Imperial Red Herring, much like the Durrand Line and Pakistan; and their central problem is not actually Israel but Imperial Hegemony; which only outwardly manifests itself in the form of different facets; and this is what the Islamic movement is focused on. I have repeatedly clarified and proven to you time and time again that the Modern Islamic Revival Movement began in Afghanistan and was focused on Global Muslim issues. Thus This is an issue that is relevant to all Muslims; so this smoke screen of Arab's using Islam to restore Arab glories is a diversion/red herring manufactured by Imperial powers to stir animosity and prevent Muslims from breaking the yoke of European hegemony; it's not Arab ego at work here; but rather your collaboration with the European one; that's being used to villify and manipulate enmities to keep Muslims on the whole backwards and repressed by maintaining disunity.

My mixed background doesn't create any confusion but rather clarity; It allowed me to see my life outside of the retarded thinking process of an ethnocentrist. I can appreciate the flaws and virtues of all cultures; without feeling some impending emotional guilt that I'd be somehow forfeiting my own. Unlike you I'm not living in constant panick and paranoia to check my pants to make sure I have meranitob. That seems to be the root of your frustration. All the farangay taunting has got to your psyche, and now you feel unsure of yourself

I don't know where you draw all these Paranoid delusions regarding proving Pashtuns are extensions of Arabs. All I have done is show that there are clearly identical cultural vestiges between Arabs and Pashtuns; It's only natural since I have familiarity with both cultures that I can draw those parallels. if that affinity is loathesome to you it doesn't demonstrate your Pashtunness or sense of Pashtun purity; but rather how much of a White Washed Uncle Tom mentally colonzed farangified house slave you have become; because the only perceivable reason you hold such animosity s due to being so pathetically anxious for Farangay acceptance; that you internalize their shallowness to appease their obnoxious views of the world.

I hope you enjoyed having your donkey's tail handed to you; the Farangay already walked away with your khootey.
