The short-term goals of the Taliban and ISI are overlapping, to get the US out of Afghanistan.

The long-term goals to install a Pakistan friendly, weak and manipulative government in Afghanistan to apply strategic interests of Pakistan on the expense of the national interests of the Afghan people is not acceptable.

It is acceptable to watan forosh people like you because you lack the brain to understand WHY people are helping and that they want something in return and don´t act out of MOTHER-THERESA-ism.
    This is what you think

At this stage, the most important thing for all Afghans is ending the US occupation. You somehow are trying to suggest that Afghans should not resist and end the US occupation.

this is where your words become meaningless, and what did they get in return, a movement in Waziristan- that serves to make the whole of Pakistan an Islamic Emirate.

I mean, yeah, their double game caught up with them, but thats of no consequence to the Afghans determination to end the US occupation of their country.

    Zero- ZILCH significance.

      Two scenarios:

      Scenario A
Americans and NATO end their occupation. Help Afghanistan to become a viable state that can defend itself against it´s regional threats. Develop a pluralistic political system where all segments of political life have a place.

      Scenario B
Afghanistan is thrown back into a civil-war that is ultimatly won by Saudi, Gulf states and Pakistani backed islamist movements like the Taliban.
A weak, Sunni-led, theocratic and anti-pluralistic, Pakistan and Gulf States friendly regime is installed while the interests of the common Afghans are not met.

      I go with Scenario A!
The US are leaving, defeated (not on the battle field but economically and morally). There is not need to spew your dumb-ass propaganda anymore.

I am pretty sure that 99% of the ordinary Afghans don´t wish Scenario B to become reality.
      The only constant is change.

yes, you still have proved nothing which was not known.

Your trying desperately, like a fool, to deny the legitimacy of a resistance based on the support from X, Y, and Z.

In that case, you might as well deny every single resistance movement that has ever existed in the history of the universe.

I proved that you support an ongoing war on the expense of the ordinary people.

I proved that you prefer an endless occupation by Pakistan over that of an ending occupation by the US.

I proved that you deny everyone who supports the national interests of Afghanistan and who defends it´s viability.

There is nothing else to prove.

In fact, in your own words this is exactly what you proved, that you support the US war on Afghanistan. You are of the mind set, that selling the occupation is the best way forward. You speak like a slave.

I proved that you prefer an endless occupation by Pakistan over that of an ending occupation by the US.
What a phrase? What a joke? You still did not prove that the Taliban serve Pakistan. Getting support does not equate to serving a country. Maybe their interests are aligned for now. Thats all you proved, and I have already said that a number of countries (China, Russia, Iran, Pakistan, etc) are opposed to the US presence in Afghanistan. Their opposition does not take away any legitimacy of a resistance whatsoever.

You proved in your own words that you support a US occupation of Afghanistan.

No, you proved that you support the US occupation of Afghanistan. See above. No matter how you may try to spin it, you are supporting the brutal occupation of Afghanistan.

There is nothing else to prove.
well obviously, you just showed us that you support the US occupation of Afghanistan. LOL. Karzai, the mayor of Kabul, cant even walk around "his" own country. No, Im not talking about America. That should be enough of an indication for you besides the reports that I linked for you showing that the Taliban enjoy considerable support in Afghanistan.
