Yes on the plane they were Afghan men, because they were Afghan...if they were Pukhtun from Peshawar then i wud write Pukhtun from peshawar drinking alcohol on the plane i was on....so i dont know why u so sensitive? If i say something against an Afghan evil person, u will get offended for some reason even though i am stating something i saw...but if i mention of some pashtun for peshawar u all get happy....U people are rascist to the core. since when afghanistan is limitted to kabul? kabul is completely diffirent from of afghanistan , north, west, east and south are completely diffirent to kabul.how many have you seen going and drinking in kabul? the bars are limitted to foreigners, i am not saying we are holy, but our society and particularly youngster are getting infected. the topic is about why panjabies are joining pashto music? do they care about pashtun men so much to please them on any price?pashtun women cannt do these things in afghanistan, not even in kabul. queen sorya was raised in turkey, a very talented woman, the british spread all the alies about her. which cost us thousand of lives.

There is a problem with Pashtuns i.e., the whole concept of the proverbial Pashtun character is based on masculanity and aggressive assertion of dominance. For centuries and millinia Pashtun personality has been glorified for strength, hardiness, bravery, steadfastness, etc.---attributes that reflect the hard-side of human nature---Consequently, the soft side of Pashtun generally is greatly under-evolved and kind of severly diminished.

So, it is no wonder that Pashtuns haven't got an appreciation for soft culture. The only art-form in which they have displayed arguably a fair degree of excellence is poetry. As for other forms of art and culture, Pashtuns have produced no master-pieces so far or even something of little significance, whether prose, sculpting, calligraphy, architecture, music, etc. Pashto music is still in primitive stage of development not been refined and elevated to the next higher stage of form and expression.

The other thing is Pashtun men have excluded women from the public sphere of life. Women being the ultimate object of beauty have inspired the sublimest of thoughts and feelings in humans, which have lead to the creation of mater-pieces of art and culture. That is why Pashtun society is so dull and dim looking as for culture is concerned.


The only thing in which Pashtuns have faired well is killing and to be killed. And when they kill, that also not for some higher purpose but for greed and personal lust (zan, zar, zameen) or a self-centered ego often inflated through flattery by others (Pashtun is this brave, Pashtun is "da Islam Ghazi" and "pokh musalman", etc.). That is why Pashtun society is barren as for art, culture, and sophistication is concerned.

Pashtun is also vulnerable to ideological manipulation because he himself cannot think creatively and profoundly.

That is nice to hear from you. One should realize and appreciate virtues in others and should look far back in history while forming an opinion of who has been good and who has been bad in history. In sum-total no group of human being is entirely good or entirely bad.

Moreover, I don't agree with you i.e. Pashtuns have become degraded. They have been simply transformed from a hardy people to some ones softened by the new way of life. But that is an inevitibility...There is no escape from it. Moreover, a society is complex thing in which you would find different shades as for tastes and likings are concerned. New ways, values, and things spring from contradictions (of taste, liking, thoughts, feelings, etc.)in a society.
