It happens all over the world.
Here, if a guy sleeps with alot of women he is seen as a 'playa' and is encouraged. If a woman sleeps with alot of men she is seen as a '*****' or a '****' who can't control herself.

Double standards in all socieites, not just ours.

no it bothers me becouse u talk like an idiot, i dont no what kind of family ur from but uno i dont tink all families are like that, pashtun men have a lot of respect for thier women, i only say u becouse u seem to talk from experience like it happens within ur family

have u been to afghanistan? dont you watch news. no it doesn't happen within my family because i have the best brothers who has alot respect for women. They listen to me i'm just talking about the one i have seen around in afghanistan. and stop attacking me...this is a forum and everyone has the right to answer everything in his/her own way and this thread was made for this issue to discuss. if you dont like it then dont come this thread.

which is why we have to change our way of thinking. if we are given the freedom to study or be independent, let's not violate it. some of us come from families where education was not provided to either parent let alone the mother. it's understanding if they think allowing their daughter to pursue her education after a certain point is useless and shameful. that is how they grew up. that is how they and perhaps you too are raised.
also i don't think it's an afghan guys fault if he is one step behind peeing a circle around the women in his family to mark his territory. if you were encouraged to raise your hand on your older sisters for whatever reason, chances are you will end up a certain way with a certain mentality. i have seen women ask their sons for permission before leaving the house in afghanistan and that is just ridiculous.

lol at have i ever been to afghanistan, i was born there and have been back more times then you love, i wasnt attacking i was discussing in my way, and djz says it in a very gd way ^^^
