Because when it comes to women our pashtun society is detestable. I have the utmost respect for pashtanas because they hve been dealt a very bad hand in life. Let me make a couple million and ill build a huge shelter for widows and orphans back home

Oppression on women

Why is it that Afghan men do anything and get away with it but when a girl does the same thing, she is told that its bad such as smoking or drinking or going out with a guy, etc. Please respond in a respectful manner and no flamming.

perhaps we are capable of representing a lot more than you could ever. the thing is that i don't consider not having the permission of my parents to smoke or drink a sign of oppression. their inability to prohibit their sons from doing such is ignorance and irresponsibility on their own part. if they allowed their sons to go to school but not me, that would be oppression.
