Isn't that waaaay too much.. 2 years for Masters + 4 years Med School + 2-6 years residency.. That's up to 12 years AFTER you get your Bachelors.. 16 years in total.
Personally, I'd skip the Master's =/

I will either do my masters in Biology or Public Health. Its better to do it in Public Health because its a big exposure to medicine.

I think it will speed up the process for my application for medical school though. Every person whom i know that went for masters, got accepted a year or two afterwards.

I want to become a Pediatrician now...i wanted to be a Cardiologist, but nah i wanna work with kids, plus they dont complain much

Oh yeah i sure will....i know its long process, but hey people's life will be in my hands. I will make sure i take a long journey to do it correctly and safely, inshallah.

Almost all the time you have to obtain your Masters in order to get your Doctorate....that is Almost always. But then program to program differs. Make sure you check it out though. There can be another way, however, you will have to do exceptionally good, be an outstanding student in your first year. I am confident you can do it, but check to be sure though

See, I unfortunately do not have that kind of support system. =/ But yeah, I do have Allah's help, so I will be fine inshAllah.

My father studied General Family Medicine. He went to medical school in Jalalabad, worked there till he was captured by the Communist party. Joined the Mujahideen, then moved to Pakhtunkhwa. Then he studied, continued practicing Family Medicine.

My mother studied and practiced OB/GYN. Then she did General Surgery.

Now in the US, they both work in Family Medicine...which is good for parents

Of course you have support....you have me, PF family, your confidence, and Allah (SWT) like you said......what could be better than that
