Planting Soybeans I believe will very much help Afghanistan as well as make (hopefully more fertile lands.)

Think of it like this: a lot of qalats around here have small irrigation techniques employed that provide water...that area of land is brown/dark brown/black meaning it has nutrients. You look to the other side of the road and you got barren sand...that runs right through your fingers.

How reliable would it be to transfer some sand to one place and the dirt to the other place? Then plant soybeans in the area where there is more "sand" then dirt?

We do it in the states, "rotate crops" every other year or thereabouts and the soybeans actually give nutrients back to the soil, namely nitrogen.

It's just an idea and I don't know how feasible it is...but others may know a bit better then me and can continue the discussion.

The biggest way you can help Afghanistan is by leaving ASAP.

Maybe, maybe not. I can say with some major assurance (hopefully) when we leave Afghanistan for good, there will be no money or paper trail hopefully.

Which means then Afghanistan on its own will have to deal with Pakistan and the Taliban.

                          thats where you are wrong
you think Afghans invited you to come and invade their country and have set up your puppet government.

you guys brought the biggest rapists, thieves and murderes and created a governemtn by bringing Karzai with protection of special forces.
to Afghans this means that karzai si the forst most puppet president in history.

Afghans will not fight among eachother, thats just the excuse.

Hahaha, as if the Taliban aren't part of Afghanistan.

You're killing Afghans, you can call them Taliban if you want but they're still Afghan.

And when we leave (the sooner the better) the Taliban will still be in Pakistan and invade and impose law in Afghanistan...so it will be Pashtuns killing Pashtuns.
