In fact, I plan on living there in Kabul with him for a while. To be honest, I dont want him to come to the US. I feel that Afghanistan really needs its people, no matter what.

He is better off there because his living is somewhat good. He is almost done with univeristy and has a good, well paid, stable job.

Plus he is the eldest son, so his families responsibility lies mostly on him.

But then it also depends on the situation there.

My brother-in-law is a doctor (graduated from University of Jalalabad). My parents did not want my sister to live in Kabul, and told him to come here. He is also the youngest of nine children, so it wasn't a problem.

All he has to do is study for the USMLE.
