Madhuri's danceing is alot different than what pashto dancers provide. Women in Pashto movies or cinema don't dance for us women. They do it for you men. Am I a hypocrite for enjoying selective bollywood movies and referring to what the ever so honorable Pashtuns produce in the name of cinema as trash?? I don't think so.
It's not what but how you do something which will make something either right or wrong.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

So i should'nt watch titanic film because if i want to then i have to send my sisters to hollywood to watch the film? What kind of logic is this.
I have no relation with nazia iqbal or musarat shaheen, they are not related to me by blood...so i have no right to object on their dance or films...but i am concerned with females in my family because they are related to me.
Nazia iqbal wants people to listen to her songs and i may or may not like her songs. Its like a businessman selling his product and its upto us to buy it or not. Now when i buy product from businessman for myself then why i have to drag my wife or sisters to the matter which is concerned with me only.

Thank you brother for being truthful. But some others are not accepting the truth.

I appreciate your truthfulness. If someone can't change him or herself, he or she should at least not deny the fact.

I believe if someone considers something haram when it comes to himself or his family, or anyone, then that person shouldn't promote it either. watching women dance and enjoying it, buying tickets for it, attending such parties, is like promoting something one considers haram.

i know many of us do it, but at the end of the day we shouldn't label it halal. fact is fact, no matter how much one twists it.

Dancing woman in front of men is Haraam. There is no question to categorize it.

                              Question:

I wanted to ask that is it permissible for a wife to dance for her husband’s pleasure, in the privacy of their own room? If yes, can it be a provocative dance. You might have heard about one of these dances, which includes belly dancing. It is one of the dances that provoke desire and I think it is prohibited in our religion for women to perform it. But what if a woman performs belly dance for her spouse enjoyment, would it be permissible?
There is one other thing I wanted to ask to make it clear for myself. If a wife is allowed to please her husband by dancing, can she do it with music? If yes then what type of music can she use but if the answer is negative, what is the reason behind it?

                              Answer:

                              Walaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,
I pray that this finds you well, and in the best of health and spirits. May Allah grant you all good and success in this life and the next.
The husband/wife relationship is important, and it is important that it be lived within the limits of the Qur'an and Sunna.
The guidance of the Qur'an and Sunna only permit certain types of music--please search SunniPath Answers (SunniPath Answers: The Source of Relevant & Reliable Islamic Answers) for related answers. The music associated with people of corruption and indecency is not permitted by any of the scholars.
As such, it would be sinful to dance in any way to "belly dancing music," because of the negative associations of such music. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) warned us that, "Whoever imitates people becomes like them." [Ahmad, Abu Dawud, and Tabarani, from Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with him); Iraqi said it is rigorously authentic (sahih)]
Thus dancing that is distinguishably that of the corrupt and immoral dance would be impermissible. But innocent dancing that is not like the dancing of the corrupt would be allowed in private, between husband and wife, even if sensual. This is what some leading scholars have explained on this issue.
                              And Allah alone gives success.
                              Faraz Rabbani
