Actually emkhan, i beg to differ on what pashtun men are like in the west. We are pashtuns so lets concentrate on ourselves here for a minute.

from what i have observed, pashtun men are of 4 kinds.

1st kind is into marrying non-pashtun women and living the western life.
2nd kind is into marrying non-pashtun women and forcing them to learn the pashtun way of life and living like pashtanay.
3rd kind is into marrying pashtanay to keep the house running while they galavant with other women on the streets
4th kind is into marrying pashtanay and "making" them work for extra income in the house because they have a flock to feed back home and can't manage it alone.

A handful of the leftover men are capable of living decent lives within pashtun and islamic values and are able to support their families in the west and back home. Pretty much everyone I know in person would prefer these leftovers, so your claim that women have brought on men slavery is totally inaccurate if I consider real life examples.

However, which category of men do "you" fall in?

I think we are talking about the pashtuns back home. The Pashtuns in the west are hardly 5% of their population back home. So don't impose minorities' thoughts of way life over majority.
Regarding what i want, i prefer to live back home with my family and live a decent life with a decent woman.

but we're in the west and we are pashtuns so we are talking about the 5%. if the 5% is making you jump the issue then what blame do you put on the girls here for thinking western if you can't talk for what the men are doing? at least state whether you think its right or wrong. you can't ignore a pashtun issue no matter what percentage falls in it.

Scimi I speak for myself when I say that women do not prefer 9-5 stressful jobs and then coming home to hungry kids, tired husbands and messy homes. The fact remains that most men I have seen are making their women work, and demand full attention towards the house as well, with little or no help. It's 50/50 when it comes to finances because "thats how it is in the west" but 100/0 when it comes to the house because "we are pashtuns and this is our way of life". That's also not fair is it?

you're right most men are ****bags; I'm not fond of most human beings to be honest. Men have become sissified, don't want to take responsibility just want to hang out and watch football as if that's the purpose of life. when i brought this issue up i was attacked left right and centre! you guys clearly think we're alien, we're not. we're pashtuns just like you are, so our problem is your problem and vice versa.
